We love a good chinese restaurant. We try them all. This one is a drive from us but we were in the area. We came with a couple kids that we didn't know if they would eat. Luckily, the food was so good, even picky eaters dug in. The egg rolls were top notch to start and they have some of the best hot and sour soup. Egg drop soup was also great but I might skip the wonton soup. The chicken fried rice was so excellent, it could have been my meal, but we ate family style with the family meal deal they have. The deal is too good to pass up. The sweet and sour chicken, general tzo's, sesame chicken were all great but I found the green beans with beef to be cravable. Also my daughter got chicken egg foo yung and thought it was ok, but I thought it was excellent. Service wasn't the fastest, but we were not in a hurry. And the server was so nice that I couldn't complain. And i love a place with lots of room and you can sit and eat and not feel rushed. The decor is what you would expect and it was cute. Can't wait to come back! I want a crab rangoon.

I have really given this place a lot of chances because they're one of the few dine in Chinese restaurants left in the area but I just can't take any more when there's hardly any people there and you can't get drink refills and you wait almost an hour for your food and it comes out completely cold not even warm, but cold and there's little to no service I get frustrated. One of my biggest pet peeves is dishes piling up on the table, which also happened and how are you expected to leave 20% or more tip when your food is ice cold, you waited almost an hour for it, there was hardly anybody there then you can't get drink refills Then to top it all off my card wouldn't even go through and like I said, this is not the first time that has happened. Here only. I actually raced home to look at my online transactions to see if it even showed up and no it did not. The problem is on there and it is not my card. I assure you that I actually will not even use a debit card after what my credit card provider told me is happening at that location then you try to pay with a card and your card doesn't go through. (I just want to clarify this is my third card that I have tried to use there that does not go through) now Before you say it's for lack of money what my providers are telling me is it does not even show on their end And I looked online and that is true after four times of trying it it doesn't even go through Then one of my card carriers told me that their location is actually blocked from being used because of high fraud I asked them what that meant, and what they told me was In other words peoples accounts are getting hacked using their card at this location And my credit card provider closed my account and had to send me another card as a precaution after trying to use it for not even that much money, so I hate to say it but I think I'm done here. There's just too much going on. It was such a mess today. I don't even feel comfortable eating in there anymore

We had a party of 25 people abs they not only accommodated us but were very pleasant and the food was delicious. Our waitress was always smiling and was very helpful!

I used to love coming here and getting taking out or having it delivered. The portions are very small now and it is expensive. I cannot afford it anymore so I will not be coming back. Very sad, because they used to be reasonable and have pretty good food.

Three of us were meeting for lunch, so I suggested the East China Inn in Warrenville, one of my long-time favorites. We ordered from the Lunch Menu and started with hot tea, then we enjoyed the egg drop and hot and sour soups. We also ordered crispy egg rolls, which were served with sweet and sour and hot mustard sauces and cost only $1.00 each. Then, our entrees appeared. My egg foo young with chicken, beef and shrimp was accompanied by a large mound of white rice, while my friends had spicy-hot Szechuan dishes with fried rice. Our oversized meals were totally enjoyed by all of us and we had plenty of leftovers to carry home. To sum up our visit; delicious dishes, great quality, low prices, pleasant surroundings and good service.
