Placed an order online, have done a dozen or more in the recent past. Was notified the order was ready, was 5 minutes away. Arrived, not ready. After checking, they said “it’s in the oven”. Gave me the pizza 30 minutes after it the app said ready. Now, the pizza was right, hot and delicious. The systems aren’t working! OWNERS/MANAGERS, your systems aren’t working! Your employees seem confused because your SYSTEMS ARN’T WORKING! Numerous others waiting, said their’s were done too, but not.

This place got really expensive. Bill ended up being 39$ for a large 3 topping and bread stick with 2 sodas. With the tip it was a 45$ meal for two.

My family used to love Monicals. However for Christmas this year my family and I received food poisoning after ordering Monicals takeout and I can definitely say this experience has finally ruined monicals for us for good. I know this location got shut down not too long ago for cleanliness issues. If this place can’t remain clean it needs to be shut down.

Most the time I'd give it a 5 for food. We ordered a deluxe Saturday and it was so salty. Please don't add a lot of salt to your pizza. Hopefully this was just a one time thing.
Waitress barely came to our table. If you order 5 or 10 breadsticks, you are still only given one of each sauce. Makes no sense. Kids mac n cheese is generic out of a box. Big waste of money. Pizza was ok. Meatball sub was dry. Should have had much more sauce being served on that hard bread so you could bite into it and a fork and knife would have been nice.

Our family has been going to Monical's for decades now. In my opinion, they are a staple of central Illinois. Their pizza is just undeniably delicious! Unfortunately, over the years their prices have risen quite a bit, so this isn't a place you can go to all the time. But, it is a perfect meal every now and then!
