They are called Dockside Dogs. Don’t bother with a Chicago Dog. Don’t have them. Just condiments. And by condiments I mean ketchup, mustard, gross old onions and mayo that was in the sun and opened. Oh, and they actually forgot to make both of my orders. Lay off the green fellas. I got a refund without getting any actual food. Gross place. Avoid.

Although I have never had an unpleasant experience here before, today was the exception. We were attended to by who I can only assume is the owner, and we were met with an abrupt, rude and condescending person with absolutely zero customer service skills. The teenagers working summer jobs here are always smiling and pleasant to deal with, but this person today left a bad taste in my mouth!

A really nice local grill with takeout food, no indoor seating. There are a few outdoor seats overlooking Waukegan harbor. The service was good, and the brat and hot dog were enjoyable. The view and relaxing atmosphere were its strong points.
Got the Chicago dogs and they left me wanting a real Chicago dog, no celery salt no seeds on the bun and way to many topping that made the dogs cold in seconds. And then there the food safety part, a health inspector would shut it down in second if they looked in there. Mold on the walls outside and inside no gloves when handling the food. And the sodas and drink options they have listed aren't even what they have. Almost forgot about the nachos over salted and the cheese was so cold it was clumpy, funny enough they were the best thing i got. Over all not a good spot will not go back again.

Three stars: Brats was tasty hot off the grill; jalapeño polish tasted like a hot dog; and hygiene was awful. No hand washing and lots of touching of faces, credit cards, cash, etc.
