El pollo rico is the place to go for tacos that have double tortilla and carne asada. Also the habanero sauce is so spicy but so tasty. Lastly the corn in the cup is such a great tasty treat after the spicy tacos. Only thing I wish was better was that the guys at the register don't smile. They look unhappy and tired all the time.

Great Food, definitely an excellent hole-in-the-wall spot in Waukegan! And one where they sell such a fantastic chicken; charbroiled chicken no less! The quality of their dishes is not only consistent but incredibly delicious simultaneously. Their star is, of course, the scrumptious succulent chicken that has everything you may be searching for in the protein. From the tasty taste and texture to the eatery's tremendous sides to offer.Though if you're feeling adventurous I do recommend their chicken tacos as well. Still, the only issue I had with the taco dinner is the portion of rice and beans that was given as I felt as if I was slightly skimped, and the tortillas which were falling apart and slightly wilted.Nonetheless, this restaurant is worth a try, and if I am allowed to, I'd give this spot four and a half stars as it certainly is a sleeper; the eatery isn't remarkable enough to warrant five stars. Still, try this restaurant you won't be disappointed as it is gem aside from the Elotes from Ortiz of Belvidere Mall!

Always love the carna tacos with the fefried bean and the rice, and the hot sauces that come with the taco dinner plate hits you like a chupacabra on a California heat wave, but in a good way.
I don't really like the chicken here but their steak tacos are bomb. In my opinion they are the only place in town that has tacos that feel very authentic, as if you were eating from a street vendor in Mexico. I find it kinda funny because the owner is Korean.

Chicken tacos good nice size(regular tortilla de milagro). Steak tacos not so good, forgot to check to see if advertise said asada or just beef its beef(para desebrar) not carne asada like i was hopping. Plus i bought food and ask to use the restroom and guy said no.. thats a big no for me won't return I'm garbage man couldn't even wash my hands...
