I've been hearing rumors that the 'tortas' @ Michoacana is really good! So I had to try it, ? it was alright (maybe add some refried beans would make it better ?). The "agua fresca" was delicious ? & the elote ? was kinda spicy, I'm glad I went. With great ? service!

I wish I could give 0 stars. Last night I came asking for a cup of nacho cheese and it was only filled halfway through. I bought a sour cream which was supposed to cost $5 and I was charged $6. Also, paying $6 for a small mangonada is insane. This place is very overpriced for the amount that you get and some workers are careless. I have been here many times and I feel this is a fair review.

The worst costumer service, we were there and the people were so disrespectful, and when we place the order we were the first to order and we wait 30 min for our order. And they give the order first to all the people who were behind us even we order the same thing as them and it was one guy who said that it was because they were regularly costumers. And as a costumer I think we have the same right because we both are paying too. The worst tbh!

"These ice cream flavors tasted so good and I want it every day I just love their ice creams" - From my children. Seriously, the average ice cream place I've known being around Evanston or Wilmette just isn't as good as any La Michoacana we've been to. The fresh strawberry ice cream is one I've never tried elsewhere and the ganzito one is amazing.
I ordered some very good mangonadas and ice cream. Very friendly people I liked the place. I would like to come back again.

We're long time customers, and we're usually happy with the service. But our experience today was off putting. Our order was two cucumber waters and three kids ice creams and snacks, so not a cheap ice cream outing. My daughter had a vanilla ice cream on a waffle cone. She started eating the ice cream and noticed a weird texture, there were pieces of clumpy ice cream in it, and the flavor was super concentrated. We asked at the counter to see if she could exchange the ice cream. We were told it was the top layer of dried up ice cream that hardens over time, so there was nothing they could do. They really couldn't exchange ice cream for a child? Not the best customer service for retaining customers. We ended up buying her a paleta because, obviously, she's a child and we came out to treat the kids as it's Friday. But we'll be visiting a different Michoacana in the future.

She has amazing customer service && the treats are just amazing! From presentation too taste absolutely good quality for any occasion && she offers delivery service if needed! I highly recommend the cheesecake fruit salad, my absolute favorite aside from the infamous chocolate covered strawberries!
