This place is so awesome. I love taking the kids here. They have a bunch of different flavors to try. They have some ice creams that are milk/cream base and some that are water based. They also sell other foods and drinks here like walking taco in a bag and fresh fruit chamoy with tajin. They had baked goods for sale. I ordered the dragon fruit with was good and sweet. It's one of my favorites next to cucumber ice cream. I tried a new flavor that had passion fruit, mango, tropical mix. It was pretty good. The bright colors inside of the restaurant transports you to a tropical island somewhere, and makes you forget it's 40 degrees outside. The service is always so awesome here. If you see a flavor and are curious about it, they let you try it out. I would definitely recommend trying La Michoacana if you're in the area.

Overall not a good impression. Seems like too much going on and then the girl looked at me confused of what I was ordering. In the end the dessert wasn't as good. Sadly the Elote didn't taste good for myself. Unfortunate experience.

?La Michoacana ice cream parlors are hot spots in the Chicago area and especially in Waukegan.This location in particular gets jam-packed during hot summer days/nights when the kids are out of school.Even when there's a line of people extending out the front door, the sweet treats here are awesome and my boys are well worth it.My wife who's not Mexican but was born & raised in Honduras does get a craving for this place from time to time and when she was growing up as a child, she can sort of reminisce her youth here.I hope this venue continues to pull in plenty of business in the coming months & years and I wish for continued success & prosperity for the owner(s).?

Very Bad Customer Service I was waiting in line for 10 minutes and no one bothered to attend me and On top of that I Got charged For a Lid a Banana split Lid that will be going to the Garage that cost me 2 dollars for me to throw in the Garbage and On top of that They didn’t even do the banana slit Good Absolutely No cherrys in their Display of a Banana split shows that a banana split comes with Cherry’s are The cherry's Bluetooth

It’s kind of alarming that they have security outside the door. Felt nervous going in. Line wasn’t too bad and they got our order correct and finished in a good amount of time. Guy forgot to put the cheese on the side though. But other than that service was good.

Need to go back to elotes not Corn from a can. It's watery and not as good, just to save a buck. Your losing customers like me. Fresh elotes are at the Belvidere Mall.
