What a great find! Such friendly people and spectacular food! Nice, airy interior -- plenty of space between tables and booths. The appetizers we had were the hummus and baba ganoush, and falafel. Best in the area! The chicken schwarma was delicious, as was the chickpea salad. And try the baklava -- heavenly! We'll be back!

We were searching for a place to eat before a show at the Genesee Theatre. We were so glad we picked Papa Marcos. Delicious food, great service and the prices were very reasonable. The hummus is amazing. It’s a small mom and pop restaurant with some really hard working and talented staff. We enjoyed everything we ordered and they even brought out a couple of small pieces of baklava on the house after the meal. We’d definitely eat here again if we’re in the area.

Got the chicken kebab wrap and greek salad to go, both were very delicious. The place was busy during my pickup yet the owners went above and beyond providing excellent service to me and everyone else. Great spot near downtown Waukegan, highly recommend!

Biked from ravenswood north for 36 miles and ended up here. Ate the most delicious warm pitas, hummus, baba ghanuj, chicken kebab & chicken Shawarma. Served with a smile and quickly! Hit the spot!! Quiet, chill atmosphere with 4 other parties enjoying meals on a Saturday afternoon. The sauces are tasty, water with lemon was great. Even served complimentary baklava at end of meal. Cylindrical rolled up pistachio baklava. So flavorful! As we saddled up to leave, the manager comes outside to give us chocolates! What!?!? Unheard of. Above & Beyond. A+
