Obviously, there's a ton of great Mexican food in Waukegan... I've lived and worked in the community for more than a decade and these guys are ridiculously good.Not as great for date vibe, but perfect for the family. Highly highly highly recommend.Burrito asada is perfect.
The atmosphere looked somewhat institutional however it was nice and sunny, with the waiting person was accommodating and the cook working behind the high counter, the food was traditional, not overly spicy, though they did have red & green salsas, the servings generous. The food is amazing, the dining is spacious, and the prices are pretty good too! My favorite thing to order is a gordita de asada and it's just AMAZING. The salsas are spicy enough to not interrupt with the overall flavor and the employees are so nice?
