I’ve been going here for a year now and not once was my food nasty. They are VERY WELCOMING TO ME AND WHO EVER I BRING ALONG. They always greet me and ask how my day is going. Ms. Lupe always serve me and it always feel like your coming to see your warm hearted sweet grandmother cause that’s exactly how she treats the guests.

The best Mexican food in Illinois. Service is great, employees are friendly, and the downtown Waukegan area is one of the biggest undiscovered secrets in Northern Illinois. They also just expanded the inside of the restaurant. We eat here almost once a week.

Tacos and quesadillas I got were absolutely phenomenal!! Seriously top tier when it comes to real authentic Mexican food. So many different options on the menu and the good comes out pretty fast despite how busy it usually seems! My new go to pick up spot for Mexican/hispanic since I moved into the area.
If you are from out of town and love Mexican food do not walk but run here for breakfast.

Paper plates?!?! Plastic silverware???!! I got the vegetarian burrito. I was supposed to come with lettuce tomatoe beans and sour cream. They left off the beans, it was drenched in sour cream and arrived cold. Salsa was SO bland!!! Won't go back! If my bill is over $100 I want a real plate and real silverware!Vegetarian options: It was HORRIBLE!!
Way too expensive for OK Tacos . They had no rice or beans food was bland . Restaurant was nicely decorated. I would stay away from this restaurant . They are overcharging for everything Guagomole was $10 what a rip off . I wish we never found this place .
