Traveling to Chicago and searched for a highly rated sandwich shop to try. This place did not disappoint. Easily one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Will definitely come back when I’m back in town.

I have been going to the Alpine Food Shop on North Avenue for probably 50 years...now I have another choice by stopping at their location in Westchester.Delicious Alpine subs (my fave!) Along with their fresh made salads and fun side purchases like dessert and drinks. Give it a try! You won't be sorry!

Good sub sandwich. Yes, it is a little chaotic inside, but they are somewhat organized, fast, and give great customer service.Good tasting oil and vinegar, soft bread, great tasting combination of meats and fresh ingredients.Just good stuff.

The staff are busy, but jovially engage with me, a truly extroverted loadmouth who adores their fresh, meaty subs! There are impatient (hangry?) shoppers but I try to put a smile on their faces as we wait together for the culinary creations!It's my favorite place for Italian cold cuts and cheeses....and the BEST Kosher pickle!
