Regular customer, had Sunday 6:30 reservation for our anniversary. Staff rushed us astonishingly, brought all courses within minutes, gave us check at 7:07, then stood and watched us. Heard personnel discussing who could leave when each of four tables emptied. No obvious manager left in bar area as we exited. We deserved better than being glared out at 7:20. Spent $150. Going elsewhere next time. This was crap.

We arrived late on Monday evening but felt completely welcome. Great advice on ordering; food was great and loved the ambience. Wished we had more people to share more things! We will be back.

The service, food, and ambience are all consistently impeccable. I highly recommend the polenta with Ragu. Ours this time was pork shoulder Ragu, and it was unbelievably good! Get it with a side of bread for an extra treat! Plenty to share or a hearty entrée for one.

5 stars for HECTOR in Western Springs!!!Hands down this was the absolute best dining experience I’ve ever had! While the food was delicious and the overall ambiance and decor of the restaurant was cozy, it was our server that made this dining experience over the top, great! HECTOR, you are a gem, a diamond! You have an absolutely charming personality and made my mother in law’s birthday dinner an experience to remember! From your spot on suggestions, to your lovely rendition of “Happy Birthday”, to the funny banter, our whole family left talking about how wonderful you were! We will be back and we will be sure to come when you are serving! Thank you Hector!!!

A totally fabulous meal. Each Bite is an orgasimic experience.Kid-friendliness: I would not take children under about 12 to this place. It's a dinner date night place and cozy. Most children will not appreciate the menu.Wheelchair accessibility: Well accessible
