Classic bakery with delicious baked goods. The tea cookies are a MUST! Order at least one pound. You won't regret it.Parking: Parking along both sides of the street is typically available.Kid-friendliness: A delight for kids to see all of the imaginative baked goods. Today there was a loaf of white bread that looked like an alligator!

Good bakery. I recently moved to the area and went to Kirschbaum's for the first time. So far, everything we have tried has been very good. There aren't too many bakeries like this around anymore. The coffee cakes are delicious as are the danish. If you're a chocolate lover you have to try their chocolate danish, it's dangerously good; problem is, it's hard to eat just one!! Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

This was my first visit to this bakery. It was crowded when I went in at 8:30 am. I took a number and began to finalize my choices to buy. I mentioned that this was my first visit and the other customers began suggesting which items I should try. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. The staff were busy but helpful. I ended up buying a lot more than I needed but I had to buy some of the suggested items. I bought a chocolate frosted cake donut, some mini cheesecake cups, a fourth pound of the small cookies and a bag of onion buns. YUMMY! Everything was just delicious! I used the onion buns to make a sandwich for my lunch and I ate my chocolate frosted donut. I would recommend if you are in the area to stop in and try something. I will be back for sure. They have donuts, pies, cookies, and so many more items.

Today picked up our paczski from the best bakery in the chicagoland area as far as I'm concerned thanks Kirschbaum's!!
Went in on Saturday and picked up 8 cupcakes, a few filled danish and a pound of tea cookies, also a loaf of bread. Such a waste of $30 The apple Danish was the best sample out of everything. Plenty of fruit and nice dough. The bread was fine but nothing special just bread for sandwiches. The cookies and cupcakes were the absolute worst. All the cupcakes were dry and hard and the frosting was dry, hard and sickly sweet with no taste. The cookies were dry, crumbly, tasteless and super sweet with no real flavor not even vanilla. Threw everything in the trash except the rest of the bread. Complete waste of money. The quality that used to be there has completely disappeared. Try Lilac bakery in Lombard or Kirsten's in Burr Ridge for a better experience.

Very disappointed with this bakery' everything was mehhh. All tasted alike, from the cookies to the donuts. Weird vibe from people in bakery, a little kid out of nowhere said he hates me, mother says why would you say that to her kid, you don't even know her. So if he knew me, it would be ok? I really don't get it, far too many fabulous bakeries elsewhere, sorry kirschbaums junkies.

This is the best bakery. The coffee cakes are delicious. Get your doughnuts early, they sell out fast. They make a variety of breads, they too sell out fast. If you need something for a special occasion, suggest you order at least two weeks in advance. I like that they have both regular size and mini size desserts. I will often get a variety of mini desserts and put them on a platter for guests to select. This bakery has so many wonderful items it is hard to put in one review. ONe of my favorite cakes is their yellow cake with buttercream and a dark chocolate ganache poured on top. This cake melts in your mouth. If you have not gone to Kirschbaum's, give yourself a treat and visit. But one warning, you go once ...you will be returning over and over again.
