There are several ways to determine if a Chinese restaurant is authentic. For one, the majority of the diners are an older Chinese crowd. We have yet to dine in but we've ordered take-out several times and on different days of the week. Almost every time I stop by, there are several Chinese dining in. Secondly, they have two sets of menus, one consists of Americanized Chinese food such as almond ding, chop suey, and egg food young and the other consists of typical Cantonese options such as walnut shrimp, salt and spicy squid, beef stew casserole, and clams in black bean sauce. We usually stick with the Cantonese menu and have tried a variety. The only item that we are indifferent to is the pork chop Peking style. Otherwise we have enjoyed everything else and there are several items that we would reorder. Chinese Kitchen is a physically unassuming, from its obscure location to its dated décor to its generic name. However, what it lacks in appearance is definitely made up for in its dishes.

This is one of my go to places for takeout. Flies under the radar and does Cantonese food. The Tomato & Beef Stir Fried With Flat Rice Noodle is a crowd pleaser and you get a lot. Noodles are the best, and the noodles just eat up the sauce in this dish. The pork chop with spicy salt is definitely spicy, and will always be one of my favorites. It comes with rice, and love that it has little bits of jalapeños and onion. I can't get enough. Sometimes I'll need an Americanized Chinese fix, and the chicken with broccoli will do, I might stick to beef with broccoli, because the chicken was surprisingly a little dry. Not much, but enough for me to think twice about ordering this again. Overall, a relatively affordable place and good value for the money.

The service here is terrible. The waiter was very unprofessional and rude. Me and my mom went there and there were like two other groups of people there eating already and the waiter made us wait for like 25 minutes and when she came over she was very rude(to say the least), and spoke in a tone that's condescending and as if she's annoyed she has to deal with us. Would definitely not recommend if you're looking to get your meal on time and be treated with respect.

Great authentic Cantonese food without having to to go to Chinatown! Everything we had was excellent and a good portion size. The place is small so be prepared to wait for a table or come when it's off peak. Popular dishes are the salt and pepper smelt and the tofu. You can't go wrong with the salt and pepper shrimp. Everything was seasoned perfectly.

Great carry out food. Our titas brought various seafood dishes for carryout, stating that this was one of their favorite Chinese restaurants outside of Chicago Chinatown. My favorite dish was baby clam in black bean sauce...just love it at Chinese buffets...and this version took it to another level. Stir fried lobster with ginger: expertly done, with tender lobster meat you can scoop out, and perfectly fine to suck on the shells to get even more flavor. The pepper fried shrimp was good as well, head and shell on...all of it is edible (just chew slowly). There was a beef dish as well, but I ran out of time and space...no much good seafood!

Website says open until 9pm. Not true, a downcast, clearly clinically depressed Asian female barely looks at you and says we close at 815pm. She did not have a weapon, so I took a seat. Unable to understand my order until about the third time I said my order and I had to point to the picture before the Asian female understood. Prompt serving of food, probably the fastest I have ever seen, nice and hot. But she wanted me to pay at 810 pm so that she could go home at 815pm. But once again they were open until 9pm on the website. I now have experienced the rudest behavior in my entire life. She did not spit on me, but used the derogatory "dong she" in Chinese, which is the rudest insult known to someone from China. Makes Asians look real real bad. Stay home, and help your restaurant if you do not want to go to work in a restaurant. Do the rest of the staff a favor Ling, stay home if you do not have proper manners!

Online ordering won't allow checkout completion. Moving on to another restaurant - don't have time for inadequate system design, testing and execution for customer interface. Need to hire and be willing to pay for qualified, experienced software development. Just saying . . . Your competition has made the investment to get a clean, hassle-free customer experience.

I went here for the first time. They don't greet us when we walked in. The waitress/hostess just pointed to a general area for us to sit. They brought our menus about 10 minutes after we sat. The water came about 10 additional minutes after that. The food was ok, not spectacular. When we were done, they gave me the check from behind (over my shoulder) which I did not appreciate at all. They did not thank us for the patronage or the tip. They may deserve a little more than 1 start but certainly not even 2 stars. Will not be back.

Best Chinese in town and surrounding. Some authentic dishes, good quality. A little on the pricier side but worth it. I've only done take out and order is usually fresh and delicious.

Only I have tried fried rice. After reading the reviews in Yelp I am gonna try different dishes.

We ordered shrimp chow fun and half of pecking duck. Good taste. Quick service. I just thought the pecking duck was going to be a bigger portion. I will go back to try more food on the menu!

Ordered egg drop soup, chow mein noodles and shrimp with lobster sauce to go. Everything came hot and absolutely delicious.

Great authentic Cantonese food at a very good price. We would drive half hour to eat there and I have recommended it to friends. Definitely a keeper.

Solid! Beef was great in beef broccoli. Veggie fried rice was on point. Szechuan green beans were crisp and full of flavor. The only disappointment was the veggie egg roll. Seemed more like a spring roll that was deep fried, greasy and just not appetizing.
