Service is good, but it is very unfortunate that the liquor is watered down. My spouse had two different drinks, and one of the drinks was Glenlivet "neat" and it was obvious it was watered down. And they still charge a high price too!

I only stopped in here for cocktails and live music on the back patio with family while my husband and I were in town visiting. However, I can say that we both really enjoyed our short visit here! Service was friendly and quick, and the patio space was cozy, roomy, and surrounded by natural beauty with easy access to the restaurant. If I lived in the area, this place would definitely be one of my go-to spots. Worth a stop in!

Came for St. Patty's day specials and it was delicious. Go in summer because they have live bands in the patios.

Went to the taste of Westmont. Whoever was the actual rude, antisocial dulard that was taking orders, the payment and subsequently handed out the change was one of the worst servers I've ever encountered. No hello, no how can we help you?, no thank you. Acted like he was doing us a favor. And for what? Two mediocre Cuban sandwiches and 2 cokes for $28. My family and I will never set foot in that establishment again.

Small portions, dirty dishes. Menu said that chicken was a "half rotisserie chicken" but came out as one chicken breast sliced in half. Mentioned to the waitress, and while she was apologetic and admitted that it was not appealing, no answer from the chef or management.

What a hidden gem! From the outside doesn't look like a restaurant- except for the outside patio area. Very clean and cozy. Food was very good. The grouper was excellent! London broil good, the shrimp tempura salad was fresh (I'm not a fan of tempura) calamari was a little on the chewy side- ask for it a little more done. Service was very good and friendly. Drinks were tasty and came out fairly quickly. We went on a Friday evening- they had live music (a guy with a guitar) he was really enjoyable to listen too. This will definitely be on my short list of places to stop. They have car shows in DT Westmont every Thursday during the summer. Stop in grab a beer (nice selection and very cold) check it out for yourself

I almost don't want to review it because this has become our go-to local "chill" spot. (Want to keep it a hidden gem, just for us!) But J. Fleming has been well-known in this area for a long time now. The patio is totally laid back, often featuring a live musician. Perfect spot to have cocktails, relax, and enjoy a summer evening. You can be "yourself" here and just have a good time. The food is friendly, but with tried and true culinary favorites. I love the coconut shrimp appetizer, the sandwiches are great, and they have a good amount of kids food options. The sauce on the mussels was delish!! The owner makes friendly rounds. They've also been known to feature their famous Cuban sandwich and other classics at Taste of Westmont and in the past at Clarendon Hills Dancin' in the Street. If you don't have kids, you can step next door afterwards to Johnny Blitz for more live music. Happy to have rediscovered a local favorite. So many restaurants come and go in this area, so J Fleming's is doing the right stuff.

This is a nice little restaurant in downtown Westmont. We were there on St Patricks Day evening. I had the Sheperds Pie while the other three had the cod. Very delicious. All the while, there was a gentleman singing along with playing the guitar and he did very well. I feel that this restaurant needs some publicity as there were tables available when we walked in at 6:30pm. People should go to this restaurant as the food was delicious and the music made for a nice ambiance. The one thing they could do is to change the color of the walls from orange to a more neutral color as the orange is a bit offputting. Good place.

Delicious food and amazing staff. I wish I took photos of the food but I guess we ate it too fast. They worked with my special requests and food was prompt. Also had some slots in the back we won a little extra on to cover the bill. We will most definitely be back!

I've liked all the food here but the Cuban in specific is amazing. I got it at the festival in westmont and then went back the following day to have it again.

Went there for the patio on Saturday evening. Indoors and the patio were empty. Had to walk through the inside to get to the patio and as we were walking through, it was so cold in there and could smell mildew. My husband ordered the pot roast and I ordered the special (red line snapper). The pot roast was tough, the vegetables were over cooked to the point of being mushy and couldn't tell what they were because it was covered in thick gravy (more like a paste). Dish tasted like it was reheated several times before it got to our table. The snapper was disgusting! Not even sure how they prepared it. Had a grayish white color with some markings across it with mango relish on top. Owner was nowhere to be found when we left. Ended up tossing our meals in the garbage. Never again will we go back to this place. Far from being "Absolutely Delicious"!

Enjoyed the atmosphere and lobster macaroni! The beer wasn't bad either! Highly recommend.

We had not been here for quite a while, but found quite the pleasant surprise this evening. We sat outside on the patio and had an awesome dinner. We ordered the special Cajun shrimp popcorn appetizer which was simply delicious. My hubby ordered the Cuban sandwich; said it was "the" best he had ever had. I had a grilled chicken and strawberry salad that was light and refreshing. With a couple of reasonably priced drinks and Carolyn's (Lefty's) capable service, we are a big "thumbs-up". We will be back soon.
