I attended this restaurant in Chicago today March 5th . It is on State and Lake. I got their delicious Mediterranean Sandwich before going to work. Spent 45 minutes. In those 45 minutes I HAD TO WIPE THE TABLE AND SEAT. WHILE THERE, I DIDN'T SEE ANYBODY WIPE TABLES AND GREASE CHAIRS. In a city were we have lots of Visitors, I believe it is a bad reputation.

I ordered a bowl of baked potatoe soup and it had nothing in it also ordered a chocolate shake and it had no chocolate the manager Brett told me he cant add more chocolate and was not going to credit me I had to buy another shake if I want more chocolate ! Rude customer service buyer beware !!! Management has no people he needs a job in a factory on a room by himself !!

I don't go to Pot Belly enough. Sandwiches are always good. The Wrek is my favorite. Soups are always good. The Potato is my go-to.This one is comfy and a pleasant place to have some grub and chill.

This place is all time. I first started going there as a kid with my Uncle Gary back in the early/mid 1980's. Yes I entered through the back door and never used the front door. I have great memories from Charlie's and glad his nephew Chip is continuing the legacy.
