It was my first time at a hibachi restaurant. I was expecting a bunch of tricks and entertaining banter however, our chef did not seem well. He wore a mask and didn’t do the typical tricks and didn’t talk to us at all.Now I completely understand being under the weather but he probably should not have been working. Do they not pay sick days here? Why must this worker show up to work when he is not feeling well. It costs both our experience (especially mine as it was my first time at a hibachi place) and the workers wellbeing. The management here is shameful.

The food was good. Don't like the new menu. When 2 cooks are cooking at the same time there is not a lot of room . I sat at the end of the table. Maybe not sit there next time.

The food is very good, the space to eat is extremely tight and they only seat you if the table is full (8), meaning you need to wait for other (that you dont know) to join for the dinner. The waiter was probably busy as it did not check on us too often when we needed water, napkins. I would recomend the restaurant but I would like to suggest to somehow offer more room for dinning as it is extremely tight and we even were with kids and we could barely eat. The chef was good, no cpmplains.

Had a few hours before our oldest went back to school at ISU and wanted to a late lunch early dinner that would satisfy all parties involved. Everyone wanted Asian and all other places were closed on Sunday mid-day. Everyone was excited about the idea and we all loved it!

It was a group of 11 celebrating graduating from a class and it was such a great place for it. We got our own table with chef and it was the perfect size for all of us to eat and enjoy our time together. the food was absolutely delicious!

They were very accommodating, we sat with another beautiful family & enjoyed dinner together. You go here for the experience over the food. The food is quite simple as in salt, pepper & butter everything. If you get the seafood, it's the same with the addition of a lemon squeeze. Customer service was great. The show was okay. I would say depending on the cook the experience could be different. Ours was not as engaging with our table, but did some fun/interesting tricks with our food. We had the 6 course meal & for a pregnant lady it was more than enough. I could do without the soup & salad. I wasn't a fan of the dressing the flavor was a bit too strong for my liking. The soup was like a beefy sweet/savoury broth. I enjoyed the rest of the meal dipped in their yum yum sauce. There is a 2nd sauce they provide not exactly sure what it is. You could also request for teriyaki sauce on the side too. Then we ended the meal with a scoop of ice cream. All together was over $100 for 2 people. Again, you go for the show & the experience of having a chef do tricks with your food before they feed you. FYI, if you sign up for the birthday reward you get a $30 gift certificate. That's why we went. Keep in mind if you get this you do need to print the certificate & present an ID that matches the name on the certificate.

First the soup and salad bowls were not removed and became a nuisance on the table. The shrimp appetizer course was an afterthought at the end of the meal. I had hot green tea which was not offered a refill. During the course of the meal a big black ant was crawling on my arm. All in all one of the worst experiences at a Benihana. Food was good though or I would say 1 star.

Normally we love it, but last night the waiter barely came to the table, and the food was overcooked. The fried rice was extra crispy, and the shrimp was burned. The table is meant for 8 people, but they seated 9 adults. It was a little crowded at the table. so disappointing
