There were 6 of us and we ordered 3 appetizers, 3 entrees, a dessert "sampler" that turned out to be 4 full size desserts. We also ordered drinks, I highly recommend the Rum Punch, easily enough for 6 and very delicious! Jose, our waiter had a great personality , made recommendations for food and drinks and he was spot on! We really enjoyed ourselves!

My husband and I ate here with my parents this past Sunday. In the menu, it says that Large feeds 5 people. Since we had 4 people in our party, we opted for the large size. When the food came out, the dishes were HUGE! We ordered a Mixed Green Salad plus three dishes (stuffed shells, baked rigatoni, and shrimp fra diavolo.). We did not realize that the dishes were going to be so big. My parents were disappointed and told the waiter that they were upset. The manager apologized to us for not clarifying that the dishes were going to be that big. The restaurant also comped one of the dishes.
We just had a 80th birthday party for my mom and it could not have gone better! From working with the managers, Mercedes and Cassandra to the wait staff, Megan and Eli was fabulous! Cassandra and Mercedes were so won to work with and answered all my questions ! MEGAN and Eli were so accommodating and funny and just provided excellent service! And that Brownie Sunday Birthday presentation was amazing! Loved the. White sangria too! Thank you Buca! Job well done !

We had a family dinner here on Sunday to celebrate our kiddos' sporting achievements. Meghan was our waitress and we could not have been happier with her service and our experience. She is very knowledgeable, quick, helpful, and kind. Our food was excellent (and my mother in law is from Italy). We got the pizza, meatballs, and a few kid's dishes. It was great and we cannot wait to come back!

We just love Buca's in Wheeling The food is outstanding. The chicken Marcella is to die for. No one makes it like them. The green beans are cooked perfectly. We always ask for Leo he is the best waiter. He has remembered our drinks that we get. Very friendly and hard worker. I'm always very happy when we see Sandra the manager. She has been wonderful to us. From setting up a party or just walking around and greeting her guests. Don't forget to get the brownie sundae, it will make you so happy
This was our first time eating in at this restaurant. We've ordered takeout before. Hostess greeted cheerfully us and brought us to our table. The waiter tried to get our order almost as soon as we sat down. He seemed annoyed when we didn't know right away. Once we ordered, I don't think we saw him again until halfway through our meal (somebody else brought our food). We waited a long time for a dessert menu, then longer to actually order dessert. It was frustrating because it wasn't that busy and I saw other waiters being much more attentive to their tables around us. Once finished with dessert, we waited almost 20 minutes just to get the check. Again, our waiter was nowhere to be found. Finally paid the check and left. Food was decent, although chicken limone was really small for the price. Not a good experience. I was really looking forward to dining in since we've ordered takeout several times and it was always a good. I don't think we'll be back.

We ordered green beans and chicken saltimbocca to share. it was listed as enough for 3 - I'd agree with that, although we are not big eaters. There were 3 half breasts of chicken in the entree. The food tasted good, but not the best we'd ever had. For dessert we shared the cannolis - filled with chocolate chip cream - those were delicious and the best cannolis we'd ever had! Service was ok.

I'm giving 3 stars for the food very delicious....we came early for my birthday....only a couple tables....our waiter was in such a rush ...asked us 4 times in 10 minutes if we were ready...we ordered and in less than 10 minutes the food arrived. Then he disappeared...didn't fully return to the table just yelled over "everything good?" And disappeared... better off ordering to go. Dropped off the candle and a sundae and rushed off. He did his job but we expected more of the fine dining experience...oh well now we know...first impressions
