I had never tried southeast Asian cuisine. Even though I don’t know how they’re supposed to taste, I can tell the food is deliciously made!! It’s delicious as take out but it is even more amazing when you dine in and the food is piping

A true hidden gem. All of the food is prepared with care and seasoned to perfection. Lin is so warm and kind and was a pleasure to speak with while we waited for our food. If you are looking to dine in, be warned that the venue is small and really only fits 1-2 small families max. My recommendation would be to order carry out and enjoy at home.

Crazy delicious food at a fair price ... cooked with tender love & care using only the best and freshest ingredients available. Healthy and tasty cuisine in the city. Strongest recommendation for anyone who enjoys international cuisine.

What a little gem! Randomly found this place and loved it! It is primarily a take out, but has few tables if you want to eat at the restaurant. Lin was very friendly and treated our family like we were the most important customers. It was our first time eating at the Malaysian restaurant and she was very passionate about explaining the cuisine and recommending dishes for us. Our family had very pleasant experience, food was very fresh and tasty. Will definitely come back.

I am originally from Malaysia (Penang) for those who understand quality is a must - not the ambience. This place gets 6 stars. It begins with the owner - a true representation of Malaysian hospitality! We went on a weekday where it wasnt busy and ordered 4 dishes for 4 people. We ordered Char Koay Teow, Nasi Lemak, char ho fun, and curry mee. My Gosh! Can I tell you how authentic this was? We also ordered Kuih Lapis for desert and the owner was so thoughtful to already cut it into 4 pieces as we only ordered 2! There was not a person in our party that was disappointed. (3/4 Malaysian in the group) I search for Malaysian restaurants around the country and am beyond happy that this cuisine is now represented the right way! We will be going back before I head back to Texas!

10/10 - Loved this place! The food was so good, and the sauce is all made from scratch. The owners were so friendly and helpful, we felt like we were part of the family! Plus, as a vegetarian, it was so nice that there were plenty of options. Definitely give this place a go!

Discovered this little gem with my niece tonight. I saw one of the owners eat from infamous bowl I used to eat with in Asia and a beautiful bond was made. Malaysian food (close enough to Indonesian food) I had the nasi goreng, martabak, kwetiau, brought home rendang for my husband. Everything was delicious. Service was outstanding, Lin and Mike were so friendly. Will definitely come back!! I just want to try it all!!!

Large variety of excellent food. Curry mee is the best. Great chicken dishes, including poached chicken. Also, there are a number of lamb dishes.

It is a hike for me, but I will that drive EVERYTIME I crave my Malaysian/Singapore fare. The owners are constantly coming up with local, aka SE Asian, dishes constantly to satiate homesick folks like me. You'll see their recommendations plastered all over the tony store (it is mostly takeout, but there is room for a table that seats 8, and another that seats 2 and a few outside seating in the warmer months). Here are some recommendations (forgive me scant description. Google for a richer one :) ): Char Kway Teow - sweet, "dry", wide rice noodles with sweet sauce Hokkien Mee - brothy noodles with prawns (big shrimp) Singapore hokkien mee - wet, umami noodles with omelet and protein of choice Lor Bak - five-spiced meat rolled in fried beancurd skin, fried tofu Desserts - oh my, where do I begin. Lapis legit, black glutinous rice with coconut cream, mung bean "soup", Nonya cakes, cendol (rich coconut milk with jelly, red beans. So amazing) Hainanese chicken rice - fragrant ginger/garlic rice with braised chicken complete with chili condiment Nasi lemak - Malay coconut rice with sides of fried anchovies, and chicken rendang Mee Goreng - Malay fried noodles with sweet, slightly spicy, tangy sauce My other recommendation is if you see a non-Caucasian client ordering, eating and slurping away there, it's mostly likely me or my friends, ask us for some guidance beyond the usual orange chicken, or beef with broccoli, we will not steer you wrong. :)

i've never felt so welcomed and warm after a meal from a restaurant before. the only time i've ever raved about food in my life (and i mean i couldn't stop talking about how good it was) was when my grandfather made dishes. i went to hd with my dad and we got the beef rendang, mee goreng, nasi lemak and hainan chicken rice. the flavors were amazing, not too crazy but definitely flavorful and savory. my personal favorite was the hainan chicken rice, which both the rice and the chicken were absolutely phenomenal, sort of gingery (and i HATE ginger so you can only imagine how amazing it tasted). the owner (i think) of the restaurant was an absolute sweetheart, always doing more than just checking on us and more like trying to make conversation which was genuinely so adorable. it's safe to say that i left that place with a full stomach, a smile on my face, and the idea of coming back for more.
