Great atmosphere and killer burgers .I drive from the city just to get a burger sometimes. We love Joey and his wonderful place. Don't miss out.

Went there on a Friday night, arrived at 5:30pm didn't get seated for over an hour. The owner does not believe in first come first serve. He writes you name on a little pad and takes as needed. If a table for four opens up, that's who he seats. A party of 3/4/5. So if you are a 2, your wait will be, well you get the idea. The kitchen is very small and open to see everything. The Friday fish fry was very good and plentiful. Your choice of Cod or Lake Perch (all you can eat. Get there early

Kilcoyne’s is a hidden gem of a bar with a “restaurant” quality food menu. If you know, you know! Great cocktails, food and customer service! No…this Lobster dinner is not on the regular menu (appetizer included, first photo). Joe, the awesome owner has monthly Saturday specials dinner; reservations only. For $55 per person, you cannot beat it! Every piece of seafood was cooked to perfection. Now…best BBLT (yes, double bacon) and homemade coleslaw around town. Awesome appetizers, burgers and other delicious food! If you haven’t been before, you’re welcome!Note: typical prices are lower, this was a special menu.

They squeeze the limes into the drink for you!!!!! Not only that but they cover it so it doesn’t squirt on you! Literally this fact alone keeps me coming back, but genuinely a very charming and cozy spot. Owner is personable and good to the staff and the guests. The service is very warm and attentive, Saturday night Julie is amazing!!! I would die for her. Hands down my favorite lil pub

We're "regular irregulars" here, meaning have stopped by once every month or so for about 3years now. No, not a world class steakhouse. YES, outstanding Friday fish fry WITH spud & vegetables. Can't beat the onion rings. Everything on the menu will make you happy. Family operation. Incredible service. Exactly what you wish your neighborhood place was like. Table seating options-not elegant but clean and comfortable. We prefer the bar top service. I hate to tell you all about it in case you make the place too crowded but it's the right thing to do ?

This is one of the most chill neighborhood bars I've found on the North Shore, and the food is also good. I've been there several times, after a friend who goes there regularly recommended it. The first time we went was on a busy weekend night. We were seated at the only table available, which was fine, and were also told we could sit at the bar. We had sandwiches -- I had a patty melt and my husband had a burger. Both were quite good. Then we moved into the bar to have drinks, and that's where we really got a taste of the vibe here. The bartenders are friendly, as are the other regular patrons. I've had some great chats here with people who just happened to sit down next to us. My Manhattans are always prepared perfectly (thanks, Julie!), and my husband usually likes one of the beers they have on tap. We haven't been to their Friday fish fry yet (we've heard the lines are crazy long waiting, which isn't our thing) but we hear that's fantastic. Maybe one of these Fridays we'll get our courage up to either go really early, or go and wait. (One more note, after reading some of the negative reviews from those who've panned the place because they wouldn't let you take your fish fry leftovers with you, that's pretty standard for all-you-can-eat meals. You should only order as much as you can eat there, otherwise they'd go broke if they let people order an all-you-can-eat-here-and-at-home-later portion Please don't ruin it for the rest of us. The employee has probably had to regularly rip containers out of rude peoples' hands, so I can't fault her on this one. Maybe they could add an "only order what you can eat here -- fish fry leftovers can not be taken home" disclaimer or similar on the menu.)

Bubbling Mac N Cheese, special steak sauce, medium rare cooked to perfection This establishment has elevated its dinner game to a high level.

Great place for a classic tavern fish fry. The perch was prepared well with a light, nicely seasoned breading. We were surprised to see it was all you can eat, though the portions were large enough we didn’t need more. The waitress was super friendly and accommodating and service was quick though we could see they were busy. We wish they had a larger dining area, though it also adds to quaintness of the place.Kid-friendliness: The dining room is a bit tight but they’re accommodating to kids/families.

Food, service and ambiance is just like a hometown Wisconsin bar with great people. Just a FYI: You save gas money not having to go to Wisconsin

Northwood bar aesthetic. Healthy dinner portions. Friday fish fry- very good indeed both the cod and the perch. Try the ribs too.
