Open late serves alcohol old fashioned bowling alley and slot machines I love it

An absolute gem of a local neighborhood bar and bowling alley. Eight lanes of bowling with some of the original Brunswick automatic pinsetters, top ball return, and manual scoring (there are free apps available for scoring if you so desire). $6 per game and $2 for shoes (as of this posting February 2024), an absolute bargain. They have a full bar with 12 tap beers including a good selection of local craft brews (plus myriad bottles selections), and over 100 types of liquor, including flavored vodkas, whiskeys, rum, tequila, and everyone's favorite Malört. Wine is limited to individual serve bottles. The staff and owner are absolute legends, quick with their service and phenomenal personalities. They do not serve food aside from a few bags of chips, however, they do encourage ordering in. Joe's Pizza just down the street makes some of the best thin crust tavern cut pizza you'll ever enjoy. A pool table and TouchTunes jukebox are available as well. Outdoor seating is a great way to relax on those warm spring and summer days.

We had a fun filled family evening at Jeffery Lanes. You must remember this is "Old School Bowling" so CHILL. There is nothing fancy about it... you even keep your own score with paper and pencil and bumpers for the kids.

Loved this place! The owner, Joe, was such a kind and welcoming person. Although the lanes were not open, he had no problem letting us play a couple games of bowling! Definitely recommend if you want a relaxed and local place to bowl.

I went here with my husband to bowl a few games. We bowled 4 games, rented shoes, and had 2 drinks each mid-day. It ended up costing us about $75 which seems like a lot for a dive bar. People were smoking indoors, the lane only had 9 pins, and I'm pretty sure we gave them nearly all their business for the day. We could go to Bowlero for the same or close to that price (I called and checked to price compare afterwards).

Fun old fashioned relaxing place to have fun. Loved every part of it. Helpful people to coach you or know how to custom fit your ball.

This place is a “nice place” with their old decorations at style 50, 60’s ??!

Lanes aren't oiled, bar staff is awesome! Would return for a few beers, but not so much for the bowling.

Blast from the past with a cast of characters that Bukowski would love to hate. The Malort flows freely, (if you don't know the drink - it occurs that it might be made from the essence of 40 yr old bowling shows) the banter is delightfully inane - and all against the backdrop of pins occasionally crashing. And then there is the one and only Helene - the queen of Jeffery lanes. A poet in a hoodie, a philosopher in flip flops - angel of mercy.
