“all their food is great at both their locations i went to EXCEPT the fettuccine Alfredo (see other reviewed about this too...& cheese sauce was nacho cheese but that was fine...) ...atmosphere is clean, open & unique...all the employees at both locations were great too--except the manager with red hair at this one, who had a terribly unprofessional attitude & seemingly no concept of good customer service (she was very condescending, defensive, insincere, etc.) ... no issues other than her ... Rob, on the other hand, was the complete opposite; the company/owner should b proud, i hope they value him as the irreplaceably incredible brand ambassador & human he is, truly an example to managers & everyone in customer service everywhere...not only handled the issue impressively, but to the point that it made up for the initial issues & changed my mind about if i wld return & recommend (which i now will, just with the warning ab her at this location ofc) ...he knows how to make ppl & their business feel valued, the way u would expect--& even beyond--of a seasoned person in this position.“

“I would consider this a hole in the wall Gem! I found this place on Yelp and was very glad we stopped. My husband and I ordered chili cheese dogs with fries and I asked for cheese for my fries and then we ordered a Dika Sausage to share. My mouth is watering thinking about it. The owners were there working and were very nice people. I especially like they have lent specials and vegetarian options. I love meat, but I enjoy trying different things during lent. They have a large variety of options. I hope we can return and try some of their other menu items.“

“We came to the Darien area for some medical related stuff and needed some lunch. I wanted to try something that wasn't a chain (there's plenty of it in the area!) so we ended up at Teddy's. My boyfriend and I were greeted by a young guy at the counter and an older man, who I can only assume was the owner. We both got cheesy italian beef sandwiches and split a jumbo cheese fry. I'm not too crazy about italian beef (especially the soggy bread) but my sandwich was loaded with meat!! The mozzarella cheese under the meat was tasty too. Fries are crinkle cut and the cheese is pretty standard cheese sauce. Our two sandwiches, fries, and drinks came to $33. Good food, reasonable prices, and I'm glad we came here instead of a chain fast food place.“

“I came in tonight and was excited because I’ve been craving a jrito crunch and have been for about 3 years and my buddy Carl told all his fb friends that owner is a previous franchisee of jrs and they have the chil ito which is this same xact indgredients (yes same chili and cheese and same chips as jrito everything was phenomenal came from Thornton which is about a half hour plus drive. So so worth the drive I refused to touch anything til I got home so I could enjoy that first bite. “Been going to the Woodridge location since 1999 and has always been great food at excellent prices. We feel they have the best value and quality of fried shrimp and gyros. “Mostly the food was very good for real but I got a Gladiator burger that did not have everything on it that they said it would on there plus I asked for peppers and they neglected to put that and yet they put the top part of the tomato that has that brown circle where the stem was on it. I can't eat that and I don't want that on my $11 burger! and that was the only piece of tomato. it made me feel like they don't like me! Then the fried okra was overcooked tough and horrible.“

“While not my usual selection, I ordered the Italian beef dry with juice on the side. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the sandwich and the generous amount of beef packed into it. The side of juice was fine for someone like me who doesn't was a soaked beef. With the side of fries and drink it is a sandwich meal that satisfies. The employees are courteous and efficient.“

I am allergic so I returned the sandwich and they made me a fresh one. My only complaint is that that sandwich would have been superb with honey mustard. Please add honey mustard to your condiment offerings!“

“Nothing special about the dining area, but dining room is clean and the food is solid. I had the Double Cheeseburger Special which includes Fries and a medium Drink. Quality ingredients, burgers cooked perfectly, fresh shredded lettuce, tomato slices, dill pickle and mustard. Add your own ketchup or whatever. It's the little extra touches which can make a burger special. Donald's toasts the bun! Fries were perfect, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and perfectly salted. My wife had the Gyros Special, and she loved the extra onions and the generous sauce. The meat is tasty, and the pita is toasted. Solid gyros! I'm eating in the restaurant on a frigid evening and while the dining room is not full, there is a steady stream of customers coming through. The young lady taking our order is friendly, courteous, attentive and unlike 90% of young people who work in food service! Donald's is a winner!“

“I visited this location on 11/5/23 because my boyfriend had been saying how good it is. I ordered a 6 piece chicken tender and asked for 3 regular tenders and 3 barbecue tenders and my boyfriend got a patty melt, we also got cheese fries, drinks and condiments. The 3 staff members working were so friendly and nice! The tenders were amazing... probably the best chicken tenders I've ever had, and the ranch was so good that I wish I had taken some home. As for the food, I ordered their classic gyro wrap, and it was absolutely delicious. The meat was perfectly seasoned and tender, the tzatziki sauce was creamy and flavorful, and the pita bread was warm and soft. The portion size was generous, and the prices were reasonable.
