My fiancé, brother and I visit at least once-twice a week. The location is so clean and the staff are all A++! so friendly and personable!There are plenty of toppings to choose from and flavors switch up based off on the time of year and seasons. A perfect sweet treat to top the night or day off!
Basically another place to get serve your own ice cream. Deck Of Flavors is in Winthrop Harbor, and has those machines you pull a lever to squeeze ice cream into a bowl on your own. It also has a crap load of toppings. Even though it may be kind of expensive, the stuff tastes pretty good. There's also non dairy sorbets. A lot of ice cream places have this business model. Our initial visit to Deck of Flavors was a delightful experience. The selection of soft serve yogurt, including dairy-free and lactose-free options, was impressively varied. The interior ambiance is equally inviting for those opting to dine in. However, the pricing at $0.70 per ounce did give us pause.
