“Came in here for the first time in awhile. Sat down, and got some of the best service ive ever gotten ever. I look much younger for my age, so the bar owner was understandably cautious when i presented my ID. Once he realized i am the age i do not look. He was the friendliest guy, and everyone at the bar started talking, and joking like i was a regular. The food, drinks, and service is a 10/10. This place is everything a good irish pub should be.“

Great recommendations, never a wait to request something and very sweet.Another girl with cute shorter red brown hair ran us our food, checked in with us and was super friendly. “Seriously, I have to visit every time I'm in the area and sometimes when its out of the way, but worth it every time. First, Noelle is just a doll for putting up with us! The best bartender ever! Then the beer is always cold, ask for the Malort, no, no, no, don't. It's a mistake! You'll hate me. But, the food. Mmmmm. The food... Nick's Burger, one pound of beefy goodness. You won't be told the recipe or the grind, all made by a local butcher, but you will be amazingly pleased, satiated, and ready for a nap. Delicious! Perfection! Best burger ever. Just my opinion.... Atmosphere, homey feel, everyone is friendly, strangers chattin up strangers. All around, great time... I love this place!¡!“

“They only serve lunch only during the weekdays (no dinner and no weekends). However it is the best lunch around! It's like your mom went in the kitchen and made it for you. Soups are made from scratch and they are delicious. The BLT on rye is outstanding. And if they have it, you have to try the potato salad. This is a bar with a Northwoods atmosphere that has affordable prices but there are some tables to sit at. They also have a Friday fish special.“

“Been going here forever. Being half German means getting fed here mandatory. This time Wiener Schnitzel (2 HUGE pieces) was my choice. I've had so many things and they're all good. Spaetzle & the sweet & sour red cabbage this time. And I got to warm it up again 2 days later; they are generous portions. Like beer? List is endless.“

“This place is truly a hidden gem. We were recommended to check this spot out by a local bartender, and we are so glad we did! The ambiance was really chill and non pretentious. Our mixologist, David, was super personable and well versed in his craft. He’s bringing experience from cocktail programs in the city to the burbs! It was a cute little spot that gave speakeasy vibes. We initially thought we were underdressed, but this place wasn’t booshie at all, and there was no judgement like some places. The cocktails were creative and well balanced. I’m so glad we have a place like this nearby. We will definitely be back soon!Update:We just went back because of our previous experience. I brought a group of 10 (all industry people). We spent over 1k as a group for my friend’s 40th bday. I raved about this place only to feel unwelcome in the end. A young female bartender tells us we were too loud. Honestly, we obviously had a lot to drink, but nobody was being reckless. We were told people were complaining. From a business standpoint you made us feel unwelcome in an establishment where we spent money. Take the $60 2 top who complained over what we spent there tonight? At least pull one of us aside instead of making a grand announcement. Chad you’re a great and talented owner, but train your staff how to talk to people. Just tell us, dont make a scene.“

“Met a friend here for dinner. I glanced at the menu before arriving & there were several tasty sounding items. My friend & I split the tuna poké with chips ? I ordered the Derby Burger which was mouthwateringly delicious. My friend ordered the Greek chicken with Naan which also looked yummy & my friend confirmed. Our waitress was training but she did a great job ?? I would be more than happy to return!“

“Hands down Juan makes the best tacos in the area!!!! He is phenomenal at his craft! And can’t beat bingo on Tuesday’s if you are craving tacos! Or any food for that matter, literally everything I’ve ordered from here the two years I’ve lived in lisle whether take out or dine in has been incredible!Highly recommend this family owned hot spot for great food, good drinks and awesome community!“

“Lost Acres is your regular neighborhood bar. Nothing spectacular, but they make an awesome bloody Mary. It's just the normal olives, pickle and celery salt but whatever else they use to make them is great. They also serve food and it's good but nothing spectacular.“

“Great time!! My first time there but we had a blast! The band, Claremont Drive was playing! They were awesome! Their baby boomer music had us up and dancing all night long and they had a nice size dance floor. The food was good and everyone was wonderful and welcoming. Unfortunately I can’t remember the waitresss name but she deserves some kind of award. Apparently they had some people call off but our waitress ran around like she had a rocket in her pants. Took care of everybody in record time with a smile on her face and a good word for everyone. Hope I can be notified if Claremont Drive comes back!“

“Had my sons 21st birthday here and my daughters HS graduation.the party room is perfect, there was even outdoor space for our party.The food was outstanding! We had fried chicken, mash potatoes/gravy, pasta salad all of it was excellent! Very responsibly priced too, but definitely order extra potatoes they go fast they were so good. Oh and get their homemade garlic dressing I now crave it! Can't wait to eat at the restaurant for dinner!! Will definitely eat there and have parties there again! Everyone there is very nice too!“

“We absolutely love Docs, they have amazing food, amazing drinks and THE BEST service. We’ve been there a dozen times and always had stellar service. Very recently we met their GM, Amber and it became instantly clear that the service was a direct trickle down effect from her leadership. Amber went way above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We recently got a new puppy and she made sure he had water and even chopped up some carrots for him which are his favorite. She was constantly talking to guests and moving people around the patio to ensure they had shade and were comfortable. Her dedication to guest service is truly refreshing and very rare in the post Covid restaurant industry. We will certainly be back again and again because of her.“

We were pleasantly surprised, very pleasant and professional staff, rich and rich cuisine, we had a pleasant time in a clean, cozy restaurant, we especially liked the Kazak meat, manti, salad, tea, cake, I will meet the owners of the restaurant, very pleasant people left full and happy...“

“Good food, great prices! The wife and I have visited Hamilton's a number of times, and I'm not sure if I have reviewed them in the past, but I made a mental note to this time, since we were there over the weekend. I have noticed, just like everyone else, how restaurants have been raising prices and adding "fees". Hamilton's doesn't add a credit card fee (or as another establishment we visited a few weeks back, an "administration fee"), tap beer prices were $5.50 for Lagunitas and Three Floyds...have recently been to dive bars and those are now $7 a pint. And you can get a great burger or wrap for under $14. Can't beat that! Oh...and plenty of TVs if you are there to watch some sports. You can see all that in the photos others have posted.“
