“Rowdy's is Yorkville's local dive in the best way. This is the place to go for inexpensive, dependable drinks and conversation. They've got gambling, darts, music... all the standards for bar entertainment plus theme nights like adult bingo. Now, the food. For a bar, the food is very good. If you're looking for a 'dining experience,' adjust your expectations or go elsewhere. The food is pretty much all fried and served in baskets or trays lined with paper. It's a great place for a hangover-busting burger or hot, salty fries and the prices are sensible. It's decent for kids earlier in the day but obviously it's not family-friendly as the night wears on. Late nights and weekends, this place earns its name. Overall, Rowdy's is dependable and tidy. The staff are pleasant and attentive without being overbearing. They don't make new folks feel alienated. Oh, and they have nifty fish tanks. I like the big plescostomus best.“

“Very clean warm place to go. Food is so good. The cheeseburgers and Chicken Sandwiches are like no other! I really enjoy taking friends yo Bristol taps as it’s a very comfortable place to relax and chat while enjoying a few drinksKid-friendliness: This isn’t a place for kids. Must be 18 and then accompanied by someone over 21. They have Mike and Denise’s in Yorkville for family.“

“An old school place that feels like someone's old house you crash at after a big a** bash. DeKing's certainly looks more like a house than a bar so it makes sense. It looks small from the outside, and it's not any bigger on the inside, so it's tight. Cheap a** booze and pool. These often combine with each other. Bar goers used to those newer places may want to hold their breath. It certainly has that old bar smell that defines a classic. The combination of cigarette smoke, stale beer, and a little piss. Only a few beers are on tap, and they're crap. The better stuff is in bottles and cans, including Old Style. Correct, that's what's considered a good beer. It's $2.25 for a big can. There's a pool table in the middle of the bar and patrons often get in the way. Simply no room to move around here. The good thing is this always feels crowded because of this. Have a good time but it's not a good idea bringing too many people because they can't fit. It also seems they finally got rid of the rotating hand towel in the bathrooms so they're getting modern. They have lots of good specials going on and it's pretty much any night of the week.“
