On Good Friday after church we planned to go to Burnt Barrel. Unfortunately there was a long wait and we weren't feeling it, so we decided to cruise by Lakeview just in case it was less busy. We lucked out, people were leaving as we pulled in. This was only the second time I'd been there, but the first time was for an event, and I didn't eat. The atmosphere is nice, it's not super loud and tables are far enough apart that you don't feel like others are encroaching into your space. Our waitress was fantastic, I wish I had caught her name, I'm usually good about that, but it had been a long day...anyway, she was funny and engaging, and had a great personality. I stared at the menu...so many great options...I decided I'd go with a burger. I love a good burger! But I'm also very picky about them, I enjoy the taste of meat, I like it pretty rare and I do not like it over seasoned. I ordered it medium rare with American cheese, lettuce, onion and mayo. It came bedded on a brioche bun...They're truly the best with their soft, delicious sweetness. I have to say this burger was in my top 5 for sure, if it's consistent it could be in my top 2. It came cooked perfectly, when I say medium rare I'm knowing that it'll still cook a bit once plated and it'll end up in front of me a perfect medium leaning rare and that's exactly what I got. The texture and taste of the meat was exactly what I'm looking for, with no obvious taste of seasoning, but instead a perfectly cooked quality burger. I can't wait to go back, I'd like to try some other things, but that burger was so good that I don't know if I'll be able to resist it!

Absolutely LOVED our server. She was fantastic, and darn if I have forgotten her name, so. We had spinach/artichoke fondue for appetizer, 1 filet 1 rib eye. She will remember us as the lady visiting from iowa. Lol. A Sunday dinner ,relaxing meal, steaks done to a perfect medium. A minor thought fondue was a little " bland" IMO, but each to their own. Not a biggie, but seriously, wish I could remember our servers name as I'd hope to have her again when return to eat there again. And to refer her to others to request as their server.

Went to Lakeview Grille in Yorkville for husbands birthday dinner. Absolutely the best steak we’ve had and everything was wonderful! We had the scallops appetizer and that was sooo good too!I have been told the Old Fashioned drink was something to try. We loved it! Our server was absolutely prompt and we had such a great time! Will be one of our date night choices for sure!!Absolutely recommend!!

This is a restaurant that wants to be a nice restaurant but they don’t know how to service their customers like nice restaurants service their customers.We had reservations, but had to wait 10 minutes for a table. What’s the point of a reservation if you still have to wait?We sat down and ordered a bottle of wine and an appetizer. The appetizer got there almost immediately, which tells me it was sitting in the back under a warming table.We waited another 10 minutes for the bottle of wine, only to be told they were out of it. I commented to the waitress that was a long time to wait for something they were out of, she sassily explained to me that “they were busy and I need to be patient” and then walked away before we could order another bottle of wine.At the prices they are charging on their menu, I expected more professional service. If I wanted to get treated like garbage, I would have just gone to McDonalds.

Mostly very good for us 6 diners. But the coconut shrimp barely had any coconut in the batter. But the shrimps were very nice size and cooked perfectly. One diner loved the burger but was not impressed with the fries. We'll be back if we're in Yorkville again.

The food was great, no errors in ant of our orders, waitress was funny and spunky to put up with our big family and not fall apart! It was sub zero temps and light crew and they did great with all the difficulties.
