I am sorry I didn't check the reviews. I wish I could post this review with zero stars. I had no idea Patelli's was under new ownership. I will NEVER eat there again. I was told 20 minutes for pick up. Got there in 15. Food was cold and tasteless. Fries were soggy,and tasted stale, hot dog was rubbery. Don't waste your time or your money

This is your average greasy food joint. It seems over time that the food is not as good as it once was. I had recently ordered the fiesta gyro and it was not spicy at all. In fact, I don't think there were any jalapenos at all on it. The hot dogs for my boys were not hot at all, and in fact, it seemed they were sitting out for a while. The bun was dry and almost stale. My mother-in-law ordered the Chicago-Style hot dog, and said it was the worse hot dog she's ever had. Her bun was also stale, the hot dog was cold and couldn't finish it. The food quality has been a growing issue for a while now, and am not sure I'll be going back anymore. Fortunately, there are other options in town to get similar food.

This place is a nice place to add to the mix. The food is pretty good and the people working there are always so nice. It's nothing fancy but that's alright. We need places like Patellis just like we need places like Lakeview grill in Yorkville. It's nice to have good options around you.
