It's a chilly, rainy grey day and I wanted to treat myself to something comforting. I noticed the new pho restaurant here a while back and have been meaning to try it, so here we go! I don't know if this place is related to the pho restaurant that used to be in the same spot (the name and menu are different), so I went with my 'safe' order: pho ga (chicken breast pho). I picked it up to go and the person at the register was friendly and polite. The food is different from the last place. The chicken lacks the color and seasoned appearance from the last place's, but it's very tender and moist; still good. The noodles are wider; still good. The toppings are fresh and exactly what you need to customize your bowl to your taste, except they provide lemon instead of lime; still good. Now the broth... probably the most important part, in my opinion. The broth is good but it lacks the complexity of the last place's. This tastes like something I could probably recreate in my kitchen, whereas the last place's broth was very clearly beyond my capabilities. It's very good, don't misunderstand, but it's not as magically addictive. So overall, it's very good and delicious. Considering the large portion size, $20 (with tip) is a little bit on the pricey side but I still think it's fair. I want to try the shaken beef next!

Such a great experience. The Pho was delicious & portions are big. The gentleman that waited on my daughter & I was very friendly & accommodating.I love the upgrade they made since the last Pho place. The atmosphere is very welcoming. We'll definitely be back.
Pho 89 is undeniably the go-to Vietnamese restaurant in town. I recently tried their Fried Chicken Thigh with White Rice, and it was truly phenomenal – perfectly cooked and paired beautifully with fragrant rice. What's more, the staff at Pho 89 are incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring a delightful dining experience every time. With its inviting atmosphere, it's the ideal spot for enjoying a delicious meal with loved ones.

Delicious Pho. The broth is very rich and deep tasting as opposed to a clearer more spice-forward broth. This is a superior choice to other Pho places in the area. Also if you can spare it get an orange juice as it is freshly squeezed and so supremely refreshing. Oh, you've gotta try this place I found last week! It's this cozy Asian spot with the most amazing rice platter. Seriously, every bite was like a flavor explosion – perfectly seasoned, with a mix of textures that just dance in your mouth. The veggies were crisp, the meat (you can choose your favorite) was tender and juicy, and the sauce... oh, the sauce was the real MVP, tying it all together. Plus, the portion was so generous, I had enough for lunch the next day! Totally worth checking out if you're in the mood for some good eats. ??
