We love the burgers at crusade but really don’t like giving them our business. They aren’t very friendly. Customer service is terrible. It’s like they know their food is good so that’s enough to keep you coming back but honestly we choose other places bc we don’t want to give them our business. They had a sign up front that says something along the lines of, you should expect to wait long for good food so don’t complain. Maybe they are trying to be funny but it turned us off. Again, we love the food but it’s just something about the way they do things.

So happy we finally went! Service was great and the restaurant was super clean. I built my own burger white cheddar bacon jam and chorizo cheese sauce. The burger was excellent cooked to perfection if I could have I would have eaten 2!!!! The shake was SO good I got the little trip to heaven the brownie that came on it was AMAZING! We will definitely make the hour drive again to get burgers.

I went to this location yesterday to get cheddar broccoli soup. When they called my name to get my order I asked for a spoon she told me they ran out of spoons. How are you selling soup with no spoons? What if I wanted to dine in what was I suppose to eat my soup with? The fact that they knew they had no more spoon and didn't tell me this is a problem. I will not be returning. I paid $6 for that small bowl of soup and a spoon didn't even come with it smh.

We were in town visiting friends and they had told us about this place. The burgers were big and delicious!! Their shakes are great and unique!! The waitress we had was very friendly and great to have. We will return if we're in the area again.

Crusade Burger Bar is a fun burger joint in downtown Yorkville. They offer inside and outside seating (under a tent). The service was very attentive. The menu is super fun! The creative names and ideas for burgers and shakes is exciting! If you’re looking for just a plain burger, you can get it, but, order something new! Try something with pico on it or a sauce you would never think of! The shakes are super creative. The picture below is of the Hellbound. It’s chocolate and peanut butter with chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, Hershey kisses, brownie and puppy chow. Insane and delicious!!! Definitely try it!! It’s priced a little high BUT I think it’s priced right for what you are getting! A fun night out with the friends or family. I highly recommend!

Disappointing experience. We were not at all impressed with the service here and the food was just ok. The French fries were not crispy and if you get one of the sauces on them they’re really not crispy. The potato chips were good. The burgers were just average, not bad and nothing special. One of the milk shakes was very good. It was an adult caramel one. The service was especially disappointing. The staff was all young and had that we-think-we’re-really-something attitude and barely checked on us to see if we needed anything until it was time to pay the bill and then our waitress was very friendly and made me think she was trying to get a good tip.

I have to say that their burgers taste awesome and the fries was a failure. I'm only giving a 5 just on the burger only. Now I don't live in the neighborhood, so would I go back humm. 70% no and 30% yeah.
