Was recommended this place by a coworker. Came in and ordered a pulled pork mac n cheese bowl and a 6 piece chicken dinner. The portions are big so I hope ur hungry! The food was amazing and u get ur money's worth. Would recommend to anyone looking for great BBQ and amazing

First timer?. I can't say nothing bad. The wait time was reasonable. The service amazing. We ordered the soul food fish, greens and Mac and rib tip, wings, dressing and candied yams and banana pudding. The food was top tier. The dressing made me cry how good it is. The wings was a bit salty but still good. Everything was good, I think I already said. The tips melts in your mouth. (Better than some other places that sell bbq.) I'll be sure to try the drinks next time. But one last thing....the food was good.

Amazing Soul food, best I've had since leaving the south. Highly recommend giving this place a try it will not disappoint. Food is home-cooked and flavorful. Owners are cordial, friendly, and open to talking. It is a family owned, ran, and operated restuarant.

I ordered a soul food plate with three wings, Mac and cheese, greens, and cornbread. My mom got a large rib. Everything was chef's kiss ?. You can tell the food is made with love and when I sat down to eny my plate it felt like eating at Grandma's house. This is my second time at this establishment and I'm beyond satisfied. The service was amazing and the area is clean. Some of the best bbq on between Wisconsin and Illinois. If you're in the area, check it out!

We happened to find this quaint and BBQ atmosphere dine or takeout restaurant while in the Zion area.We ordered Turkey leg, ribs and strawberry shortcake.It smelled so good we couldn't wait to eat it at home, we ate it in the car!So juicy and flavorful!
