This place is a bit unassuming as you approach it. Go in anyway. Sit where you want. The server will come by with a menu, I promise! We had breakfast there. Mine was the Barcelona Skillet, hubby had the chicken fried steak. We both got pancakes and split an order of biscuits and gravy. The pancakes were picture perfect. Slightly bland but that's why there's butter and syrup. Both our entrees were delicious and we took home leftovers. Some of the food was less than piping hot when it arrived which is why I gave it four stars instead of five. The waitress was attentive but not overbearing. The prices were reasonable.

Ordering online I was very unsatisfied. Ordered eggs and I wasn't offered choices on how I want them prepared. I ordered steak and again no choice on how to prepare it. Ordered hash browns and they were undercooked. Hopefully in house food is better. Rather leary of trying it though.

In May of 2023, I was interviewing with Zion 6 (got the job) and wanted to eat somewhere local prior to the interview. I wanted to find a little cafe/diner so that I could support a local business and hopefully enjoy some fulfilling food. I was not disappointed and in fact, I will be returning there this afternoon for a late-lunch/early dinner prior to the Open House this evening. I'm sure the service, food and environment will be just as good as before.

This place was amazing. im from Milwaukee and went to the Renisance fair and meet up with family from Chicago we wanted a nice place to eat and have coffee and have good conversation the place is clean the staff was great food is great coffe was great as well as a fresh pot was made right as we ordered after as was done eating i was able to play a few games on the slot michians highly recommend ? ?

Very hot inside. 3 of us ordered and then had to re order 30 minutes later. The rest of us couldn’t order for about 40 minutes and we’ve been waiting on the food for another 20 so far. We’ve been in the restaurant for over an hour and we haven’t even gotten drinks yet.
