Called in an order for pickup they said 30 minutes got there and they were closed. So glad I drove 20 minutes for nothing. Waste of time and gas. Always talked good about this place not anymore.

My favorite of the Art's gang. The OG is the best. Honestly time management is not their strong point. But the quality of the food is! And talk about a nostalgia trip. I don't think this place has changed from the 60's Just a cool hole in the wall with amazing food! Food: 5 stars Service: friendliness 5 stars Speed...not so much. Ambiance: Well. It's just cool.

One on 29th and Main.Went at noon. 3-9-24No diet drinks. Had a small selection of drinks-bathroom was out of order-freezing cold inside. Got a 12 in pizza and it was brunt on the bottom and the crust. The poor girl was all by herself and doing the best she could. That place has been in the same location for 49yrs. Will go to Satterfield or Broadway. Will not return to 29th & Main. Plates were very thin Styrofoam. When you would cut your pizza with the plastic knife-well you cut into your plate. Think they just run on a shoe string. If it is broke-they do not fix it. This is a shame. Art's is a staple in Anderson. Was raised on Art's pizza and roast beef sandwiches. Brought some home.

They were very busy when I got there and figured I would be there for awhile but was only there for about 20 minutes so not that bad of a wait even though the parking lot was full and the inside was full...

Some of my best childhood memories, it's Sunday in Muncie and Dad says pizza. In the 63 Chevy station wagon heading to Arts. Dad and I go order a large pie and roast freaking beef sandwiches with the large slices of the green peppers. Back to the car where we would devour that beautiful food. All of us with big smiles. A pie and Italian beef, does not get any better.

The Pizza was good but the Italian Beef blew my mind. When I think of Italian Beef, I usually think Chicago style. I feel like a traitor to my adopted home, but this was so much better. Instead of being au jus, the jus was also green peppers (mangos if you speak old high Hoosier) and tomato and Italian herbs. So, much flavor! And instead of the standard thin bun that just dissolves, it has a slightly tighter bigger in house made bun that slurps up the delicious juice, but does fall apart. Then the beef... piled SO high and so tender and flavourful. Thin cut but not tissue paper thin like Arby's, just a little toothsum. So good. All sliced and cooked in house, and it showsThis is the sort of place that should be on Diner's Drive'ins and Dives. If they could serve beer it would be perfect ;) Come on Anderson, loosen up on the liqueur licenses ?Staff was awesome and made me feel like family. I'm looking for an excuse to come back!Parking: 4ish spots out front

Arts is by far the best pizza in this state. I used to only eat Pizza King, then I was introduced to Arts pizza and that's all she wrote folks. Never go anywhere else.

Pizza is amazing we come from indianapolis to get pizza here in Anderson ONLY this Arts tho none the others are the same. Yes it's a lil wait but that wait is totally worth every minute trust and believe. Also a lil pricey as well but again WORTH ITTTT. We some Arts loving girls. My mothers been going to Arts for YEARS.Kid-friendliness: They have a couple arcade games in the dinning room for kids to play while they wait pac man only cost a quarter.

If only we would've called ahead and ordered instead of just stopping in.Parking: Most of the parking is around the back or up the side of the building. There isn't but one or two spots out front to park.Kid-friendliness: They have a couple arcade games too inside but it seems as though only one of them is working and that's the claw machine right now.

We did pizza quite a bit of a week. Because of busy schedules. However we ordered pizza from every place we liked. This place was the only place that got it right everytime !! So many places now days try to move the pizza to fast through the cooker and the center portion of the pizza Is doughy and slimy. Not this place. Spot on every single time. It is now our go to !! The big poppy is a hit if you like all meat pizzas. Their Roast beef sandwiches are one of a kind ! You won't get one of them anywhere else I promise !
