“I absolutely love Gene's rootbeer stand. I have been eating here since I was a kid. I actually got to work here all through high-school at a time when the Colts came for training camp. Gene still owned it and Jeanie ran it. It hasn't been the same since but I still find a way to get there at least once a year. I tried to buy some rootbeer in the cans but they were out at that time. “The gyro platter is incredible and by far the best deal on the menu. You'll want to ask for double cucumber dressing... extra tomatoes and 3 more pita breads... or if getting to go, have tomatoes and bread on hand at home! The rack of ribs are also delicious and truly not a bad deal money wise.... the chicken is super small and the white fish is just 2 pieces. All of it is truly very very good. I've also had the fried mushrooms and zucchini. The mushrooms were my favorite of the two.“
