This IS NOT Pitt Barbeque anymore and it shows. Customer service is horrible... They charge for them to put the sauce on the side... I'd have paid for sauce on the side even though I think that is DUMB, however I had ordered through a delivery service and there was no way to adjust payment without canceling. When my order arrived, it's missing a side and the food IS NOT the same. The tips are drowning in sauce, probably to try and hide the fact that the meat has no flavor. VERY disappointing! This was my favorite restaurant in Anderson... NEVER again!!!

If you a see a review for less than 5-stars, ignore it! Pitt Barbeque & Grill is hands down the best BBQ in Anderson and the surrounding areas. I have lived in the area for 57 years now and just recently tried their food and I was blown away! I ordered for delivery, a small rib tips and fries for my first order. (I have eaten there several times now) When I opened the container, my first thought was I had gotten someone else's order because I was looking at the largest "small" order of anything I have ever seen. It was obvious why the container wasn't staying closed very well. The fries were your basic frozen, crinkle cut fries but they were perfectly cooked. Hot, crispy, and plentiful! I am almost at a loss for words to describe the rib tips. Meaty, saucy, umtumptuous pillows of melt in your mouth nuggets of meat... I'm drooling just thinking about them right now! There was so much food to eat, I had to stop, put the ledt overs in the fridge, and have more the next day. The next time I went to the store to order in person the next weekend and was met by the nicest people around. Customer service is off the chain. The building is small and they have a small section of seating but I would say the majority of their business is take out and delivery. Everything on the menu looks outstanding. The prices are fair. Oh... almost forgot.... the sides! oh my! The sides are perfection. Cooked and served perfectly. You can't go wrong with the Pitt Barbecue & Grill. Run, don't walk, and enjoy some of the best BBQ around!

I have been looking for beef brisket locally, and not many places serve it. I can tell you the pit barbecues. The Fresca is hands-down, some of the most tender and juicy brisket. I’ve had in a very long time. The price is super reasonable as well. I ordered beef brisket, baked beans, greens, potato salad, and their peach cobbler. The greens were really good but I was a little bit surprised that they were sweet and not savory. The big beans were pretty good as well. The potato salad had really good flavor as well. I feel like I got a super big portion. I tried to call my order in, but it said their voicemail box was full. I decided to go straight to the restaurant to order instead of ordering off of DoorDash. Some more of the money would stay within the business. There were a couple delivery drivers they were picking up while I was waiting on my order to be prepared. It’s a super small restaurant and not very much parking. I think there was a dining room, but it looked like it was closed. Currently, I think they’re only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

I gotta say, I expected more than I got for the money. My sister always talks this place up and how good it is, but I wasn't impressed. The meat was dry, we had to wait outside for at least 30 minutes in a hot car for door to unlock yet sign said open, didn't have much bbq sauce on it, and for the price she paid it definitely wasn't worth that. First and only time I'll eat here.
