Thank goodness this place has been demolished!!! Hope the Health Dept. was involved in this decision because the way it was managed, I wouldn't let my dog eat there!!@ If I could give it negative stars I would!!!

The first one we tried to go to was closed. But there was nothing in maps or Google that said it was closed! We went out of our way to stop there!

It was an extremely long wait for us in the drive-through. The food was warm. Our order was wrong. No cheese on either burger. The only reason I gave the food a 4-star rating. I grew up in STL and moved to a state without any SnS. Michigan finally had a few SnS. Sadly, they didn't survive Covid.

I didnt think it was possible for there to be a steak n shake worse than Franklin TN BUT surprise. There is in Anderson Indiana. Came in on 8/17/23 at 4:40 pm. Starving. Waited and waited to be seated in a totally empty place. The cook was waaaayyyy to busy playing on his phone. I know he saw usDidnt even say hi. Black lady with dreads also saw us. Not even a head nod. Sooo we down the street to culvers for immediate customer service and hot food. I know people dont care but the people you had working were extremely rude. Wont ever be back so no worries.
This will be my last visit here. Ordering by kiosk onlyNo one keeps the tables cleanThe bathrooms were dirtyNo one to help a handicapped person place an orderHamburgers served on paper wrappers. Six people came in and all left without ordering. It was noon on a Friday and there were only four diners. So sad. Another late causality if the pandemic.

I worked there as of a few weeks ago. I'm telling y'all DO NOT EAT THERE. The shakes are damn near spoiled half the time. The meat bins are never properly cleaned so there's always film that builds up on the side of the meat bins. I've constantly had to clean up after first shift. We leave people's orders just sitting there so if u order off line expect ya food to be cold... The managers basically clock in but are actually never there. Shantel is one and Zack the new gm does absolutely nothing... Our freezer went out, we have lights that are leaking water right by the shake machine. Coming from an employee this place in Anderson is complete trash....

I ordered a meal and asked to upgrade my drink to a shake. I was charged the full price of the shake even though it should have been just an upcharge. Further, I upgraded one of my sides to a cup of chili. The cup was only half full. Very disappointing, would not stop here again.
