This is a fun little restaurant that seems very well loved by Anderson locals. We went at 2:30 and luckily found 2 stools together at the counter. Even at that time on a Monday afternoon, every seat was taken. The service was good and all the staff were extremely friendly. I am giving 4 stars for the food. I had a bowl of chili and a hamburger. DH had an onion burger and ff. The menu is somewhat limited, and the food was average. This place is really more about the history and uniqueness of the building than the food. We would most certainly return and try the tenderloin and a shake!

The older lady who was working the counter was unprofessional and rude. From the moment we walked up to the counter to the moment we left, she was just not interested in taking care of us. It's been 31 years since I've been in there. I guess it will be another 30 before I go back.
One of the most nostalgic places in Anderson Indiana. Always good food, great staff, descent prices. Only holds so many people and there is usually someone waiting for your seat, but a must at least once so you can say you been there.
