I cannot attest to the atmosphere, I have ordered twice and let down twice. I wouldn't advise ordering from this Applebee's. I trusted Applebee's because the Marshall, MI location was always favorable. I moved to Angola and the first order was incorrect. My order today for the Chicken Ceasar Salad said romaine lettuce and it is definitely not romaine, it's the fat white iceberg pieces with hardly any chicken. For the price, it just isn't worth it. I hope this stops someone from trusting this place. Don't order from them. I have done take out once myself and door dash.

This was such a terrible experience. My husband and I will never return to this location. The hostess was doing her absolute best to get people to leave instead of eating there. She was very negative. She talked bad about the staff, she exaggerated wait times... she lifted 0 fingers to help the staff. We've never seen anything like it. She did nothing to help her teammates. We watched her tell others who came in that they should leave because the wait would be too long and they were understaffed. Once we finally got a table, our service and food were great. No complaints there. We were seated fairly close to the entrance, where we continued to witness the hostess mistreat would-be customers. The poorer they appeared to be, the worse she'd treat them. So many people walked out. We complained to our waitress out of concern, she was polite but defended the hostess. The hostess's lack of customer service and common decency is why we plan on not returning. This location would do better to not have a hostess at all than to have her.

Waited 45 minutes to be seated. 2 hours for our food. It came out cold, and disgusting. I ordered nachos, and the "fresh made chips" were stale. My wife had food she didn't even order, but she ate it because we were starving. The absolute worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. I would go here again if it was free.

My friend and I were just passing through the state and I had a craving for the Blondie. Honestly I could have just gone for this delicious dessert. Food was decent.Although my friend and I liked having time to catch up and chat, our server only took our order dropped our drinks and never saw them again to order in the Blondie.Props to the gentleman in the blue shirt who came to put in our dessert order and delivered it as well. Thank you good sir.

The Angola Applebee's used to be good. It's pretty terrible now. Our last attempt to eat there, 1/3 of the restaurant was empty, but we were told we couldn't sit at a booth there because they didn't have a server working those tables. This was 3:30 in the afternoon on a weekend. They sat my wife and I at a dirty table, with food and trash all over the floor underneath it. It literally looked like to clean the table off, they just shoved everything over the sides onto the floor. We asked to sit on the bar side, which had several empty tables. We were told we had to sit at the rail. The rail was packed. There weren't 2 chairs side by side available. We asked to be moved to a clean table or booth and waited 10 minutes. No one attempted to clean anything. Several employees were just standing around at the back of the bar talking. After 15 minutes total, we gave up and left. We ate somewhere else, that was actually clean and had good service. We won't be back to the Angola location anytime soon.

I called in my take out order. When I arrived and walked by the bat I was greeted and asked how I could be helped. The lady was quick and I received my food. My food was delicious and I have eaten there in the restaurant too. I love the atmosphere and the people who were and maybe still working there were are doing a great job!!

Food was bad the all you can eat dinner had 3 choices and all sucked the shrip where doughy and the ribs had way to much liquid smoke in the BBQ sauce the wings had a weird taste to the beading for what we paid ( 145 plus tip ) I would have rather went to someplace
Saturday night. Only 4 tables are occupied. Have been sitting here waiting for our food for 30 minutes. Waitress just said it will take longer because if a to go order. Shouldnt the tables in your diningroom be a priority.
The restaurant was completely out of wings. I’m totally understanding of that. However, I wanted the combo appetizer. They won’t let me order it because they are out of boneless wings. So I asked if they can substitute something in place of the wings. The waitress said no they can’t ever substitute anything in place of anything. So I asked for a manager which she stood by her waitress.So now, I’m forced to order two separate appetizers for more money.I’m sorry but any other restaurant would do the total opposite from this policy. I have always supported Applebees which after this experience has made this my last time supporting this company until they change their bad policies.

Several times we've been here and they've been short staffed. The last visit we had, the waitress was not the most efficient. She was very nice, but passed our table several times before even stopping to say hi and take our beverage order. We sat there for at least 10 minutes before getting our drink order in. And waited at least 5 more minutes for our sodas. We ordered our food right away. It took a very long time for our food to come out. My soda was empty and our waitress went by the table several times without acknowledging our glasses were empty. We flagged her down to get refills while we waited for food. It was around 30 mins for our food. She did eventually stop to tell us they were short a cook. When we got our food, it was just okay. I ordered a chicken sandwich and the chicken was over cooked. My husband's food was just okay too. It took awhile for our waitress to bring our bill (even though she passed the table several times) and again it took awhile for her to take our payment. We understand places bring short staffed. But efficiency would help a lot! A waitress should be able to stop by more than one table before going to the back. She did this every time she stopped at a table, instead of stopping at multiple tables. For example get a drink order at one, drop a bill off at another, take a order etc before going to the back. Sadly disappointed and this has happened multiple times there. We were in there for an hour and a half just for 2 dinners and sodas.

Tried to use the app. Not user friendly. Ended up ordering on their website. A 25 charge order ended up costing close to 40 dollars. Just a total zoo. Extras ordered were not included. Vary disappointed with the experience.
