Aver's is always good and they have the best beer selection in Bloomington. I just wish they made a true stromboli and not a sandwich on 2 slices of bread and call it a stromboli. Somehow Indiana thinks this is how you make a stromboli. Aver's should make it the way it should be or just call it an Italian sandwich.

Love coming here, everything is amazing! The Super Chicken Salad, onion rings, and pizza are great, especially the Whole Enchilada, Chicken Masterpiece, and Veggie Revival. The pizza flights are 8 mini-slices of 4 kinds of pizza and are a great way to try different flavors. There’s also a rentable side-room for large parties.

Listen, I LOVE Avers pizza. But we went to eat at the Public House tonight not realizing that they're no longer offering their pizza buffet. :( We happened to see friends there, so we stayed.Everything was $12-$15 bar food, so we landed on sandwiches. The sandwiches we ordered were small, greasy, and overpriced, with sides of greasy chips or tiny, oversalted crinkle fries. We ordered onion rings and weren't too impressed with them either. It all felt too greasy and underwhelming. My son told us to "just eat at home next time." We spent over $100 for 4 people and left feeling quite regretful. The service wasn't amazing either, and the bathrooms have clearly seen better days.We can't say we'll ever go back unless it's to pick up a Cream and Crimson.Parking: Plenty of parking availableDietary restrictions: There aren't really many good options if you eat either carnivore or low-fat whole food. It's all greasy and salty bar fare.

Carry out order quoted at 15 minutes and we waited over an hour. Food all came out at different times so a lot of it was cold by time we got it home.

Pizza was probably the best I have had. Highly recommend the combo where you can try multiple. Service was great kitchen only messed up on the nachos 3 times. But once they came out, they were great. I'll be back when I come back to the area.

Menu selections were just what we needed to accomodate our diverse group of eaters: GF pizza, make your own pizza, sandwiches, pasta, salads. Craft beer selections were a nice surprise, too.

Four of us dined for dinner, we all had pizza and it was really good! The veggies sampler was delicious and for me the perfect amount of food. We did not order any appetizers but came in pretty hungry. The 12" pizzas were bigger than the sampler but also a good size for one. The service was good and pretty quick for a Saturday night.

Aver’s Public House is a great spot for American food. The wings are some of the best I have had in Bloomington - up there with Buffalouies. They had less sauce then I would have liked but they were the perfect texture. I had the awards Pizza flight which featured a great variety of toppings and base sauces. They were all excellent. The chicken bacon ranch sandwich was fantastic. Crispy and crunch chicken fried to perfection. We had to take one of the “tenders” off because they were huge!! The prices were decent for the food, $10 for 6 wings, $12 for the pizza flight and $16 for the sandwich and crinkle cut fries (Fries were $2 extra but worth it!!). They have great daily drink specials and a clean and fun atmosphere. All in all a great place!
I’m seriously disappointed in Avers! We ordered for delivery, with a promised time of 6:00-6:15. Pizza wasn’t delivered until 7pm, even after I called twice. Then, part of the order was wrong. Have had great experiences before, but this one really was disappointing.

Nice dining area. Good food. Good beer selection and excellent staff. Very impressed by the promptness of service and short wait for the meals on such a busy day after the women's basketball game. Definitely recommended.

Nice and friendly atmosphere. Service was very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend the cheese bread with a variety of dipping sauces. An old favorite is the Cuban black bean pizza. We also ordered the Beckon Desire. One of Bloomington's best pizza places.

We were seated right away which was fantastic. Our waitress was one of the best. She was always checking n on us to see if there was anything needed. Food was fabulous! Great flavor!

I didn’t have a good experience here. The server spilled ranch on me and my friend and didn’t notice. It took 15 minutes for the server to come back with water refills.That’s on the server though, not the establishment. For what it’s worth, this is a nice and clean facility, and the employees are nice. But the food is so overpriced for how mediocre it is. My $14 meatball sandwich was small and did not taste good, and the chips that come with this expensive sandwich are just Lays. The pizza is decent—overpriced still, but better than the meatball sub.
