Best pizza in town. Their servers could do better. I was speaking to someone there, and he completely ignored me no matter how many times I spoke. He kept attending to other people, and I had to leave the place. The service I got is unacceptable, but that didn't distract me from the fact that Aver has the best pizza in town.

My only complaint would be the lack of dessert options. The monkey bread is great, and I haven't tried the ice cream, but I feel like there should be one more option. Aside from that, they have great toppings options. You can get very creative with your pizza here. It is a bit expensive, but in my opinion worth it.
Payed 40 dollars for a large crazy avers deal and got a cold pizza an hr and a half later and i only live half a mile away. The driver didn't even wait 5 seconds for me to open the door and just put all my food on the ground (and yes i tipped him.....) Extremely

After checking Yelp's order online and comparing it to their own website, I ordered my pizza for pickup. I was sitting two stores away at the Sinkhole drinking beer so it was certainly close! The page estimated 20 minutes and so when I showed up after 20 minutes, my pizza was ready to go.Fresh and hot, I carried it back to the SInkhole and dug in. I'd ordered the "Cream & Crimson" which comes with alfredo sauce and mozzarella cheese topped with a layer of oven-roasted red potatoes (yes, potatoes!) that were seasoned with fresh garlic and dill. Topped off with bacon, cheddar and creamy gorgonzola cheese. This was AMAZING and no wonder that it won awards.And yes, half of it stayed in the box and was lunch the next day. Ordered delivery and I really used to like Aver’s above most other big names out there, but the past couple of times (including the very last) my pizza was nearly raw in the middle, most likely because of the obscene amount of cheese. I don’t ask for extra. Every piece I pulled up, the flimsy undercooked dough came away from the giant glob of cheese in the middle, leaving a sloppy mess all over the box, and half of my slice void of any toppings. The breadsticks were ok, though. One of my favorite places to order from, especially late at night, has gotten lazy, or oblivious to the way they make pizza, which is a very bad thing for a pizza place. Thanks but no thanks, I’d rather buy a frozen one than order from Aver’s again.
The gyro pizza was phenomenal. The breadsticks taste just like circle k gas station breadsticks.

I just walked in for a Take & Bake Pizza. Clearly the employee was not happy with being at work today, and was not thrilled to take my order. I love Aver's pizza, but will never go back. Said employee took my order, used the cash register and started making my pizza without washing his hands, or putting on gloves. He dug around in all the vegetables without using a utensil. Gross. I should have demanded my money back, but went ahead and took the pizza. This is just a recipe for getting sick. Shame on you Aver's for not having higher standards.
