I fell in love with macrons while on vacation. When I saw Blu Boy had them, and that my friend Tara T made them I just HAD to try one. It was delicious and I would recommend anyone who has a macron addiction like myself to go get some!

Awful service in 2023, WAY below what it used to be from 2010-2019. So disappointed when trying to shop local.

A cozy place to have a coffee and a piece of cake from their wonderful selection.

Used to be so great. Totally run down now. The cashier when asked about their cookies said “they’re good if we bake them long enough but sometimes we don’t”Asked for whipped cream for hot chocolate and they were out, card reader didn’t work so had to manually type cc. Prices were written on post it notes.

Delish Cakes, Chocolates, Coffee's, Espresso, Cappuccino, Americano's and More!!! Every single time we go to uptown Café, Malibu grill, or the Trojan horse, we have to step next-door to BLU Boy Chocolate Cafe!!

Small local business with excellent hand-made chocolate you can’t just get anywhere. I had a lavender chocolate, strawberry vinaigrette, caramel brownie, and a blueberry red bull drink. It was all 10/10 delicious.

The first time I ever ventured into Bloomington, I stopped in BLU Boy ! I had heard really great things about their macarons. And I will say - I haven't had a better macaron since I've lived in Bloomington. And the staff are always so friendly.

Barista didn’t offer any interaction or conversation. Drinks were sub par, chocolate was ok.Dated shop. One visit was more than enough.

This is a local, small business making some excellent, handcrafted chocolates, cookies and icecreams. Really love their products.

Just moved to Bloomington. First time at Blu Boy. I suppose this place might be popular with UI students, but certainly not a "hang-out." The affogato was saved by the espresso (the ice cream was a bit icy) I imagine the coffee is what keeps the place open! Torn as to whether I will return. ?‍♀️

Serves local coffee, which is commendable despite being un-noteworthy the times I've visited. Desserts are mostly small chocolates and some baked goods with a few shake offers, but may take awhile unless there are no currently ordering patrons.

We went to the cafeteria on Christmas Eve. After we got home, we found the owner secretly gave us an extra slice. Our hearts felt so warm! This is the best Christmas we've ever had!
