After looking at the pictures on their picture menu I decided that I'd have the JapChe Rice with beef and stir-fry vegetables. My guest had the chicken fried rice. Once we'd given the waitress our order, the took the picture menu away. There's a reason for this. They don't want you to see that picture and do any kind of comparison. Because it's going to be very different from what you get in the dining room. The photo of the dish had a nice portion of beef next to the noodles and the rice. However, what was brought to me had about a tablespoon of beef in it. And the vegetables were buried under the noodles, probably 3 pieces of red pepper, a few pieces of scallion and a few mushrooms and exactly 4 pieces of carrot. That was it. Most of the dish was noodles and rice. The flavor was good and the waitress was nice and efficient, she did a great job. But when a guy wants a beef dish and pays over 12 bucks for it, he would really like to get what was in the picture: BEEF.

Amazingly crispy kimchi pancake that wasn't oily at all. I didn't order my favourite japchae as it seems to be a side dish served with rice. Service dogs welcomed! Will go again!!

Came during a weekend lunch. Had to wait a few minutes as the chefs weren't in the kitchen yet? I opted for udon veggie noodles. It was just a-okay. Service was great and food came out quickly. Just didn't hit the taste buds correctly. Lots and lots of menu options and offer lunch specials.

I went back to Indiana over the weekend to visit my old college stomping ground and we had a Saturday night dinner date at this awesome restaurant. Once again, time after time, Do pulls through with the best food in Bloomington.

Server was nice but food is very very average and the kimchi stew was way below average so watered-down and barely any kimchi just flavorless and bland regular cabbage cut up and filled with random filled veggies. The pork the used for the soup was sad tbh. I was super disappointed with the food. Honestly do better this is a scam of peoples hard earned money. Spend ur money elsewhere.

Recently got the Jayuk fried rice from Do , I am a senior at IU and Do has been my favorite restaurant since Freshmen year and brought all my friends here. Recently , I learned Do changed owners but I didn’t think much of it. Today I got my favorite dish and it was over cooked, flavorless, and extremely oily. Going from a dish that I knew would satisfy me every time to one where I can’t even finish this has left me distraught.

As a Korean student, here is the best restaurant serving Korean food among I have ever visitied in both Bloomington and Chicago. I strongly recommend Kimchi pancake which is the second delicious Kimchi pancake. The first is one cooked by my mom.

My favorite place to visit when returning to Bloomington. Robust menu, great offerings, darling inside, best kimchi pancake of my life!

Went there a couple weeks ago with a few friends. The whole experience -- food, atmosphere, service and wait -- was the best I've had at any restaurant I've been to. I don't live in the states (from a tiny, little pacific island that is mainly dominated by east asians and east asian culture), so this restaurant was a breath of fresh air for someone who was desperately homesick. Would recommend a hundred times over; will definitely visit again if I get the chance to!

Do is one of the few restaurants that are open late in btown. Their foods were super solid. We ordered budae stew and bibibap this time. Do's Budae stew is like the individual portion of army soup. The stew has ramen and the dish came with rice. Bibibap was good too, but I wish the egg was not fried egg. A little bit runny yolk would make it taste better.
