This place is closed permanently! It looks like they're doing work to open under a new name but still a long way to go.

Worst dining experience of my life. Should have seen the red flag when we walked in on a Saturday evening during a game weekend and the entire restaurant was empty.I ordered the filet rare and they brought it out well-done, so I sent it back. The second time around it was medium-well, so they at least improved. For the sake of time I decided to not make a big deal about them ruining the most expensive item on their menu. My mistake, because I literally choked on it in front of the staff and the four other people occupying the entire restaurant. When the manager came out to investigate I apparently hurt his feelings with one of the descriptors I chose and he was no longer concerned that 20% of the people in his restaurant nearly choked to death. I refused to pay for the piece of char he was selling and left. ?

The general manager of this place DESPERATELY needs training in empathy, leadership, and basic human interaction. I understand that parent's weekend at IU can be chaotic. All the restaurants are booked solid for reservations and it can be a lot of pressure. But that is no excuse for the leader of this restaurant to berate and demean his workers and patrons. I was sitting at the tables just past the bar, and could hear him telling the bartender how to make the drink.... I think everyone in the restaurant could hear him do this. He was unbelievably condescending to her, and the sense of entitlement this man HAD to show was disgusting. I could later hear him yelling in the kitchen "Where is ____? How hard is it for you all to make ____?". THEN a man at the bar asked to speak with the GM as his meal was not prepared correctly and the steak was so dry it made him choke and LITERALLY throw up at the bar so he could breathe again, the GM made a HUGE scene of it. Yes, the man who had the issue was upset, who wouldn't be, but his tone was collected and firm in telling him that the steak was SO dry it made him choke, and instead of the GM listening and understanding the situation, he started speaking over him loudly, drawing the entire bar and surrounding tables attention to the situation and then hung on to the fact that the man used a curse word to describe his steak, instead of the fact that the food could have killed him. It was a disgusting situation to see, and I'm not talking about the man who choked. I know this place is being renovated and going under a new name next month, so I PRAY that while they are taking out the trash, they also take this highly unskilled and unprofessional trash of a GM with it.

We had been here before, last school year and found the place at that time to be decent...not so much. Cocktails were poorly made getting us off to a bad start. Son ordered Salmon...waitress came back 5 minutes later that they ran out. No problem he ordered a steak medium well. Steak is run out by someone who looked stunned that we didn't have our entrees, asked if we ordered anything. We told we did---he looked perplexed and left after a minute. Steak was unevenly cooked, I know medium well is hard with a filet but this wasn't close. Our food arrived quite awhile later. My meatballs were dry and cold---my pasta was hot so clearly they didn't time the cooking/assembly very well. Waitress was nice so we tipped well---didn't want to hurt her for the kitchen screwing up.

Excellent service. Some of the food is great and some dishes make little sense. Too much dry, undressed arugula with the appetizer... no one knows why it's there and no one wants too eat it. The child's entrée is bigger portioned than mine! My partner's twice as big as mine (all pastas btw). Once they iron out the details, I'll come over more often if I'm to justify this expensive experience. They're winning with a lovely staff and tasteful decor.

My partner and I ate here last night for the first time, and had a great experience! The food was amazing, wine was great and service was awesome.

Just stepped in for a few minutes for a takeout order. Never knew such a short process could go so terribly. I go to walk in and a waitress rushes past me without so much of an "excuse me." I stand waiting to be helped for over 5 minutes to then be exchanged employees 3 times. Without any words, a check gets dropped off to me. I get a brief thank you as I went to sign. The decor of the restaurant looks like a poorly designed mega church with gray walls, awkward booths, and random furniture throughout. Uniforms are very strange considering the managers were more underdressed than the wait staff. I was considering a reservation on Friday, because I heard great things about the food but I'm going to Malibu now!

Service was terrible, for a large family event the waitress barely was seen. Apparently the restaurant expects you to look at their menu on your phone now, too lazy to pass out menus. If you're with a large group, expect a bowl of salad for everybody to pass around and serve themselves. If you want salt or pepper, go look for it on someone else's table, it would be faster to get it yourself. Not saying the food was bad but for the price you are paying, you overpaid. I've had better service from a fast food place.

Used to eat here pretty often and loved it, although it did take awhile to get our food, it was worth it. It’s been about a year since our last time. For date night, my partner and I came here a few days ago at 8:00 pm and seeing as they don’t close until 9:30 pm, according to their posted hours, I was shocked when I showed up and they were closed. Was very disappointed and won’t be returning

It's really sad to see that they've changed their recipes. The Bolognese is now cheesy tasting so it no longer bolognese. The chicken Marsala is no longer recognizable as chicken Marsala. The salmon was over salted and it was not edible and the bread that accompanied the meatballs was salty and inedible as well. We were their last night and they informed us they only had one chef as the other one had car problems. It's possible the person back in kitchen was new and wasn't sure what to do but there wasn't any apologies after letting us know why our food was slow even after letting them know the above. We tried to order more drinks but they never came back to take our order until we were finished with our meal.

I came here trying to find a good place for me and my boyfriends anniversary just to find this on my table behind some condiments. I don't know what this is, but no insect should be on any table.

This was already one of our favorite restaurants, but last night the Grazie Italiano staff outdid themselves. I decided to surprise my husband for his 60th birthday by arranging to have our best man an his wife meet us for dinner. The evening was a lovely success from beginning to end, because the hostess and waitresses were so very careful not to let on that we expected anyone else, and because they were so attentive to us all evening and went out of their way to make the meal extra-special. The food was (as always) delicious. The staff seemed very sincere in encouraging us to stay and catch up with our friends for some time after dinner. Overall a fantastic experience. Highly recommend this place!
