We ordered the dolsot bibimbop and the bulgogi noodle, and gyoza for an appetizer. Everything was very tasty! Would definitely go back.

I've gone four or five times now and every time has been stellar food. The atmosphere is nothing special but that really doesn't matter to me. The bulgogi "hot dog" things they have are tasty and great as an app. Their main dishes are delicious and many come with some nice Korean sides. Best of all is the price. I feel transported to a time before the pandemic. So step back in time, get filled up with probably a little left over for like 36 bucks with tip for two people. It's just too good. Do yourself a favor and eat here.

My passion for food is undeniable and anyone close to me can attest to that fact!I am still in awe of the incredible dining experiences I have had at Hoosier Seoulmate on two separate occasions. It's hard to believe that I drove past this gem for three whole years without stopping in. The fact that there is usually an open table and no wait for seating is a mystery to me. The wait staff has always been quick and friendly, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. The food at Hoosier Soulmate is truly exceptional, earning a perfect 10 out of 10 in my book. I highly recommend trying the Spicy Beef Bulgogi, as words alone cannot do justice to the delightful burst of flavors it offers.

I had the bibimbap with tofu 3 weeks ago, and it was really good. The portion size was also fairly big, to me at least. Stopped by again today and had the spicy chicken bulgogi with ssam... it was sooo good. I think I found my dinner spot when swinging through here for work every 3 weeks. Can't wait to try some other food from here in the future.

Best Korean food I've ever eaten. My wife's grandparents lived in Korea for over 20 years. Tasted just like Granny's. Except the service was friendlier. Very fine people.

This place is, to put it simply, AMAZING. Easily in my top 3 restaurants I've ever eaten at.This is only my second time going, I discovered it literally the day before I moved out of Bloomington and have been thinking about it for 6 months, and today finally got to go back.Food heaven. We ordered wayyy more than we could possibly eat in one sitting because we didn't want to miss anything. My boyfriend got the pork Bibimbap, I got the traditional Jjigae which came with a side of rice and it was so good, mildly spicy, and came in a little pot that stayed hot the entire meal.We also got the Kimchi Bulgogi fries, which is our favorite thing on the menu. If you go and get nothing else, you will still leave happy. We also got one Bul-dog and one spicy chicken bul-dog, which are pretty small so acted like a side.I look forward to eating here again in the future.Atmosphere I give 3/5 stars, just because there's not a lot of lighting inside, and it would be nice to have a bit more. But I would never base a recommendation on just that, the food is good enough I would eat it no matter what the inside looked like, it's truly a hidden gem of Bloomington.

currently mid-solo date night at hoosier seoulmate. i had to pause my eating to write a raving review. i was seated quickly and served quickly, and the food is ABSOLUTELY spectacular. the side dishes offered a complex variety, the tteokbeokki was succulent, the kimchi jjigae was stewed to perfection, and this was my first time having raw spicy marinated blue crab - and safe to say it set the bar VERY high for anything new for a while. i highly, highly recommend anyone visiting the bloomington area to stop by and enjoy this establishment for themselves.

I dragged my family in for some bulgolgi fries, because I had a huge craving! They were good, but not great. The bulgogi was lacking the flavor I was looking for. I felt the same way about the wings I ordered. They were also just okay. The service was wonderful and it seems like a very authentic place. I think we just ordered incorrectly.

My favorite Korean restaurant in Bloomington. Fresh BanChans everyday. Their meat based menu such as BulGoGi and Spicy Pork are great. DupBaps are good, too.

Our server was very welcome and friendly, helped us navigate the menu and understand what to order as first time guests. Food comes out super fast, the fried rice is an excellent choice if I you are not sure what to get. The complimentary sides offering is a nice touch as well. If you haven’t been, definitely give them a

Food was pretty decent, but not great. I've had much more authentic Korean. Service was also really slow.

Just have to start with how good the bulgogi fries were- of everything we ate they were number one bomb dot com. Like good enough to drive to down from Indy to get. I had the soondubujjigae and my mom had the chicken japchae. She said the japchae was good but would stick with the traditional bulgogi next time- also a note that they come with the larger vermicelli noodles. My jjigae was fantastic and it was nice to have banchan (shame on restaurants that don't provide banchan!!) the waitress was nice and the restaurant itself was clean and well laid out. Still dreaming of those fries *swoon*
