Best restaurant in Bloomington. Staffed by the owners. Incredible comfortable and cozy. Stunning plates of french cuisine. Best restaurant experience I can remember. My favorite restaurant.

Come hungry!!We came for Sunday brunch. We were sat and served a 3 course meal for $15 a person. There was no menu. Everyone is served the same thing. The food was phenomenal. It was flavorful and came in moderate portions. We were quite satisfied and left with full tummies. The atmosphere is quaint and quite European imho.Would highly recommend for brunch.Kid-friendliness: Very kid/baby friendlyDietary restrictions: They accommodate for dietary restrictions, but gave some flack to a group near us who couldn't eat dairy.

This is an amazing restaurant. My wife said she loves the atmosphere and feels so relaxed when we go. My children like it too. There is such a fun variety of food. You never know what is going to be served but it is always good.

This is a review for the walk up window. The owners of this french cafe are so sweet. The service is fast and the food is just the right balance of texture and flavors. The croissant was flaky and the prices were fantastic for what you got (8/10).

Today we ventured out for our April (a little late, oops) restaurant pick. A threecourse brunch at Le Petit Café ! Only $35 for 2 people - nuts ! The service was fantastic. The owners seemed to be the only two working - the husband serving / bussing / hosting / and checking out. The wife was the one cooking and also serving on occasion. The teamwork between the two was absolutely amazing. It was also adorable to watch them work together, speaking in French, and being oh so charming. On Sundays they do not have a menu. They ask you if there is any food you don't eat / are allergic to and then they bring out the food. I'm not really sure what any of the things I ate were - but I didn't taste anything that wasn't scrumptious. My favorite was the phyllo pastry during the first course. It was buttery and rich and melted in your mouth. I believe it was filled with cheese. The inside is decorated with cute, French posters and artwork. As you walk in, you can see the kitchen in the back. It would be nice to have a board during brunch that says what is contained in each course - mainly because I would love to know what the phyllo dish was called ! Would definitely go back - every Sunday if I could !

I went there this weekend to the little window area. I had a savory crepe, Nutella crepe, and a quiche with eggplant and something else. I have never had authentic French food. and my mind was blown ...well my pallet. the savory crepe was an explosion of awesome in my mouth. I had never tasted anything so good. I felt bad though because I had planned on sharing with my daughter ; I just couldn't lol. but I did share the other crepe so now I don't feel as bad. but to shorten this I highly recommend this place. the lady was so sweet and kind. the food came out fast and tasted beyond delicious. the pricing was great for the Quality food. I'm so happy I discovered this little gem. and I will be coming here again soon. they get ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is such a beautiful little restaurant that's family owned. It may be hard if you have dietary restrictions as it seemed that they only had one chef in the back. She was the owner and was super friendly. At the time of our visit it was run by the couple that owned it and it was a beautiful experience if you gave them patience. Do not come here if you're in a rush or have lots of limitations. The menu is small but very well executed. I do wish they had more hours but it's understandable why they have the limited hours. I had steak, cheesy bread, and dessert cake. It was all very fantastic. I don't usually write reviews but this place is fantastic.

A very nice experience with lovely proprietors. The food was good but I am not accustomed to short daily menus.

A friend that lives in France convinced me and another friend to go to this restaurant. It's cute and we liked the environment. There were a few difficult factors though. I have Celiac and must eat gluten-free, to which there weren't really any options and I had dessert for dinner (who can complain about that though, right?") and the other friend was vegan so they really couldn't have anything either. The friend from France did not approve of the service nor food. We had a wonderful time together in that environment, although there's some improvements to be made to make it more than a one-time visit.

Once again, a delicious leisurely adventure at LePetit Cafe, a Bloomington treasure. Friendly service, gracious hosts, and a full house enjoying the warm hospitality. Plan on a couple hours, relax while savoring the wine and food, save room for dessert.

Had a wonderfully prepared birthday dinner there, the people are very kind and authentic. Tomorrow morning I'm going back to their take out window for their crepes! ?

Such a lovely restaurant! The “French Window” during the Farmers Market never fails to be interesting and delicious.

This is a relaxed bistro with the best food I've had in town. I love French cuisine and I can taste the quality and preparation involved in each bite. I look forward to my next visit with great anticipation.
