My experience at this hot pot restaurant was quite a roller coaster. To start, the broth base fell short of expectations, with an overall bland taste. The sesame sauce was disappointingly thin, lacking the rich texture I had hoped for. The freshness of the beef balls also came into question, which is a significant drawback for any hot pot dining experience. Since it's a self refill drink station, when I went refill my water there is a pice of black stuff in my cup and I don't know what it was.The cleanliness of the utensils was another concern, as I found some were not thoroughly washed. As for the service, even though the restaurant was not busy, the staff seemed more interested in their phones than in attending to customers. It was only after a server finished taking another table's order that she realized I needed to place mine, at which point the service slightly improved.However, despite these issues, the smile of the female server did offer some solace. Her friendliness and warmth made me feel somewhat valued amidst the shortcomings. But, judging the experience purely on service, I find the 18% mandatory service charge unjustifiable. I initially didn’t even want to leave a tip. Yet, it was her smile and effort that made me feel a tip of up to 10% was reasonable, and it should go directly to her.P.S. why is an up charge for Cattle Intestine out of anything?

Drove two hours to eat here, we were immediately told to leave.We arrived at 8:30, and the hours listed online said 9:30 the hours posted on the door said 10pm and the open sign was still on. A girl with red hair at the counter told us they don't serve you unless you arrive within an hour before closing and that they actually close at 9. She was extremely rude and it was obvious they just wanted to go home early and did not want us there . Very disappointed, this place used to be our favorite but we will NOT be back.

My husband and our little guy went for lunch. It was very good, so much flavor. Dipping sauses were delicious. The service was also fantastic as well. Even our picky eater was taken care of. So good! Must try, we will definitely go back.

They mixed beef with pork; no service at all - you basically have to do everything on your own, including refilling the broth. 18% tip added to the bill with no service. Will never come back.

For the price, I would not come back. $77 and change for two people because they force you to tip 18%. Personally, our waiter was not worth even a 10% tip. It took at least 15 minutes before anyone even came up to the host stand to seat us and then at least 25 minutes once we were seated before anyone even looked at our table let alone came to take our order. We weren't even able to eat as much food as we wanted because out waiter barely checked on us. He only checked on us when his trainer/the boss instructed him to and that poor guy was running all over the place. Hopefully he can get some quality help soon, I feel bad for him. The guy that I assume is the boss was great, but the guy he was trying to train absolutely sucked and really ruined the experience for us. This was my husband's first hot pot experience and I definitely do not think that this was a good representation of what hot pot is actually like. The bathrooms were also filthy: pubes all over, blood on the toilet, an overflowing trash can that had rust and disgusting stuff all over it.Would not recommend, maybe try the other hot pot place here if you really really want hot pot.

I have never heard of Hot Pot. I went there Wednesday night with a group of friends. Everything was absolutely amazing! The owner was our server and he was the absolute best! He was funny and joked around with us but also took his time with us and explained how to order and how to cook the food. He truly made it an experience and I would reccomend it to anyone!

FINALLY made it in, we'd been waiting for the renovations, and it went way beyond our expectations. The food servings were small so we could try everything without the risk of wasting food (though no food waste fee), and we were able to keep ordering more and more. Everything was delicious, and Mr. Pot, himself, was very friendly and helpful the entire time. The environment was clean, inviting and fun, and we can't wait to come back. 10/10 would recommend.

So me an my husband went for date night. Very excited to try this place. The food good. The server sucked she was very rude. She didn't check on us at all. Didn't ask if we needed anything at all i hate that the tip was included cause I wouldn't have given her nothing cause she didn't earn it.As other people were coming in she sure helped them kept asking them if they needed anything else. My 1st time there sucked. I hate bad customer service ?. We won't be back because of that. We work hard for our money an to spend the amount we did to get treated bad really sucks.
