Staff was friendly however we were over charged. The food was not up to par and very minimal meat in the beef and broccoli. Building chilly and you could smell cigarette smoke. This was, by far, the worst Chinese food I’ve gotten in my four years in Bloomington. Every item was soggy, swimming in grease, and seemed to be freezer burned store bought food. Legitimately inedible - I spent 41 dollars and couldn’t even force myself to eat it, I chose to throw it away. I have never left a review of food in my 32 years and this food was SO bad, it inspired me to say something. DO NOT EAT HERE ?

Hubby and I had the opportunity to try Red Chinese last night. We ate at the restaurant since we were staying nearby - although the dining room needs to be updated - the food is spot on. The appetizers of crab rangoon and pork eggs rolls arrived quick, hot and had unbelievable flavor. Main courses of cashew chicken and beef lo mein were amazing as well. Great flavor, HUGE portions, and warm. Service was attentive but not hovering. We will definitely be back.

The food was just awful - dry lo mein, soggy fried fish, and pork egg rolls that were greasy and fishy tasting. We were very disappointed and ended up having to go to McDonalds. I expected much more from a pricey restaurant.

The chicken is to sweet but taste ok The salt pepper fish fillet tasted good. I would say it is authentic Chinese food. Worth to try

The outside of this place needs some TLC. Pulled in for dinner with the family and immediately pulled out. It wouldn't take much, either. Some picking up and general outside cleaning, maybe hide that dumpster, and you have a nice spot. Food looks great in reviews. Unfortunately, lost our appetite to give it a try.

I only gave one star because zero wasn’t an option, this place is awful! We first placed an order online and walked in to a completely empty restaurant 30 minutes later to pick it up and neither of the two employees had any idea that an order was placed. I was told it would only take 10 minutes, which seemed like a big under-estimate for 3 entrees and appetizers but I waited in my car for 10 minutes then went back inside to pick up. 15 minutes from that point (25 total) our food was finally ready, bagged and tied up, and I took it home. When I got home, we discovered none of the appetizers were added and one of our entrees was wrong. So I called to ask for a refund of those items, and was told 1. That my entree wasn’t wrong, Orange chicken and sesame chicken are the same thing, he just forgot to add the sesame seeds on top, and 2. That he would only refund the appetizers, not the incorrect meal after their “busy time” so to call back in an hour. On top of all of this mess, the food was horrible, we didn’t even eat it. The chicken was rubbery and obviously microwaved, very gross. I would never, ever recommend this restaurant to anyone.
