This was my first time here. NEVER AGAIN!!!!! If you can’t tell from the pictures what it is. It’s 2 really long strands of hair that was in the greens. I found out the hard way by putting a fork full of greens in my mouth and noticed I was eating hair. No it doesn’t belong to anyone in my family we are all African American.

It could be an awesome spot. The chicken needed more flavor, and the ribs were tough. The mac and cheese was good. The potato salad would be better if they chopped up the potatoes. The beans were good. Their sauces were not too bad, but they needed to supply more.

Lots of potential here but it just misses the mark. I got the pulled pork this weekend and it was dry. No sauces on the table to try and the options they have are limited. There is 0 atmosphere for a place near a B1G school. They really need more TVs and either some music playing or a game on. It was dead silence. The diet pop machine was broken too. I sat in the front room and it didn't seem like the heat was on and the decor is very dated. Not an awful place just not anything I'd tell people to go out of their way for.

Amazing restaurant. Great vibe, amazing food. Fireplace is a great touch, food is amazing, was served fast. Would recommend!! Try the pink lemonade and the fish on Friday.
Always enjoyed going here in years past and have only had carry out since Covid era. Today was our first time coming in to dine and while I love the smell and atmosphere... As a BBQ place, I felt my meal was lacking that very thing: BBQ. My 1/4 pork sandwich had some hot BBQ sauce but it's like I asked for "light sauce". I recall there being bottles of the sauce around the restaurant and when I asked, I was told they no longer have the bottles and was given a small cup of the original sauce. It was a little surprising. Food was good but not as good as the past.

Order of Brisket (2lbs) placed at 11am for a pick up at 7pm. ONLY .. to be told when I arrived 15 mins early that they are ALL OUT!! Okay .. maybe let the customer know before coming AND DRIVING WAY OUT OF MY WAY TO GO GET THE THE FOOD THAT AIN’T EVEN AVAILABLE !!!!! Also, I had to then scramble to find dinner for a few quests LAST MINUTE.. THE ENTIRE ISSUE I WAS TRYING TOO AVOID.. LMAO!! TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION AND LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

8 of us, and all of our food was cold. It has been years since we’ve been back in town but we’re very disappointed. Looked forward to the corn salad but it had way too much onion than I remember. Brisket was dry and cut too thick to be tender, in my opinion. Servers struggled to get us the right food. Wont be back.
