I went to the Cade about a month ago and had a great time. They have a few old games there and four gaming booths downstairs. During my visit the upstairs section was closed off. I tried the sour tart drink everyone talked about and it is a wonderful drink if you like sweet drinks (which I do). We got there right at 7:00pm when they open and there was no cover charge. Drinks were affordable. I think the only thing holding me back from giving a five star review is the size. They need more space and more games, it was ok the first hour but when it got busier it felt like everyone was on top of each other. The bartender was great in suggesting drink options. Bathrooms were clean. Atmosphere was fantastic! If you like old arcade games and just a fun and inviting place to hangout late at night this is the place for you! It's downtown Bloomington so you'll have to park in a garage or at a meter. Parking prices are reasonable.

Super fun bar, great old school arcade games , pinball, and console games in a cool space. Custom drinks are fun, but also a standard bar option.

I was there, August 17th of this year for my best friend/ brother's birthday week, when they were just getting started. Aside from lack of elbow room, which for a broad shoulders cornbread fed southern.. that's hard to compensate for, so I could not find any real fault with The Cade. Im not a professional at pinball, but I had fun on every pinball machine they had available, with a little bias to the classic rock and roll machines they had towards the back. Granted they look like they have updated and upgraded from the last time I was there. Kinda wanna go back now that Im looking at how much it's changed but I'm so far away I may have to get a little car for the better gas mileage just to visit and chill. That's all y'all! Peace, love, and joy to that little lady that saw the biggest, roughest looking, but well meaning southern boy with a farmers tann

Do you like the old fashioned arcade games from when we were kids? Do you like to drink while playing them? Then this is the spot for you! This place has it all. If you can grab a table while you are there, you can even enjoy the classic N64 games! The service is great, they have themed nights during the week and all of the games are free to play! Who would want more??

It's a really good place why she go to it because by star rating once again he's like probably cool I love this arcade but I wish you had a bowling area

Decent but smallish selection of games. A fun enough way to kill some time. Pleasant staff.

I’m actually going to give 5 stars because it is an exemplary example of what an arcade bar should be - cheap cover of $5 for free and unlimited games. Drinks were only decent taste wise, but sting and cheap so who really cares you know what I mean?Great spot.

First time visiting this place, and I must say if you're into an arcade games, and like playing games with a good drink, this I the place to be. Great service, and great drinks. Will be going back often ??

DO NOT EVER GO HERE. I'm not from Bloomington so I decided to give this place a try - it almost ruined my trip. The curly haired male employee checking IDs made me feel completely unsafe, isolated and uncomfortable. My boyfriend and I walked in asking about trivia night. He talked down to us and seemed like he wanted us to leave. Then he barely looked at my ID and immediately told me I couldn't come in because he's "unfamiliar with kentucky IDs" (where I'm from) and that they looked "sketchy." What kind of professional turns someone away because of their personal bias or ignorance? I asked him to check it again and he used his black light, paper guide with pictures and even almost broke my license by bending it, like he was trying to prove a point or something. Then he asked for my passport and vaccination cards and that was the dealbreaker. I started to get scared. I told him that I'm over 21, god honest truth, and then he asked for my social media and Apple ID?? He also asked me to "visit his buddy next door" to "check my ID" and come back. He did not call over any other employees to help. In 2022, to any female-bodied person, this comes off like I was going to be assaulted or trafficked. I would've pressed charges if he didn't give my ID back because it would've stranded us in this middle of nowhere town. The fact that this man is in charge and doesn't know what kentucky, a state that borders his own, identification looks like tells me that he was improperly trained and doesn't deserve the job. He has an attitude or behavioral problem too and I can't imagine how paying customers feel after they leave. We were perfectly kind the entire time regardless of him being accusatory and trying to set us up. He doesn't care about the well-being of their customers or the bar he works for. I would've bolted out of there for my safety had the bouncer not been manhandling my license with all of my personal information on it. I have never been so blatantly disrespected and horrified by someone who is supposedly representing a business. The atmosphere was totally dead so I know they needed our business. I think they'd have more customers hanging out there if they spent less time hassling, scaring and belittling grown adults, and more time ensuring the quality of their service and safety of the people there. At no point did I feel like I could trust the man I was talking to. Moving forward, I hope this establishment considers training their employees on EVERY states ID, considering this college town is a melting pot for people all over the world. The unprofessionalism and inexperience we encountered last night was truly shocking. Ignorant, misogynistic creeps are the face of this bar and you will not be safe here. GIRLS, GAYS AND THEYS - BEWARE!!!!!!!

Pixie is an amazing bartender, we're glad to have kind people behind the bar. Thank you so much for being nice. Other bars will treat you like a scumbag, not the cade though. I appreciate the good service and the owners for being awesome

It's a fun place to go. I would call it a cover charge. Call it a play fee. I'm more than happy to pay a play fee because most of the machines are free vs a cover charge like it's a normal bar. Would like to see some more machines here. Or machines on rotation.
