This is the first time I have reviewed a Chinese buffet. When I was younger, I used to love Chinese buffets. Then, I started enjoying them less and less. It finally got to a point when I would tel myself if I thought going to one was a good idea, don't do it. In the town of Bluffton though, the power was out in half of the town so my options were limited this evening. Coco ended being very enjoyable. The best entrees I had were the Honey and Pineapple Chicken, General Tso's, and the Hot and Spicy Chicken. The Honey chicken specifically was magnificent with it's tropical sweetness. The crab Rangoon, dumplings, and eggrolls were all solid. The Rangoons were especially noteworthy for their bigger than average size. Nothing was bad but I thought the Mongolian beef had too much grizzle to it. Service was very friendly! The lady at the counter asked where I was from and in my Southern Alabama accent, I told her Alabama! I asked if zi sounded different and she said yes. She asked if I would come again and I said it's possible.

Anyone else have problems with them changing the price of the to go buffet? I went last night it was 30$ for two then right now she charged me 32$ for two and on the menu it says 13$ for one. So am I confused? We thought maybe they thought our boxes were full last night( which they should be) so this time we made them smaller. Now wishing I wound have stuffed it. Theyre making people tip them on buffet is my only guess.

We stopped here after it was recommended by several friends. The food was good, they had a large selection of different food. Most everyone would find something they liked here. Service was good as well. I tried a few things I'd never had before.

I witnessed the most unbelievable thing while eating here for dinner. I’ve come to this restaurant several times and had good experiences previously, this time has completely changed my mind about this establishment. While sitting down and eating I witnessed 4 little boys ( probably under the age of 8) up at the Buffett using their hands to grab food out from the food trays. One child even grabbed the lo mein noodles from the tray, dropped it on the counter and then proceeded to use his hands and place the noodles back into the tray. As well as picking up the jello and sponge cake deserts with his bare hands. Then he went to the croutons and started eating them out of the container there in. My table had informed the waitress about what we were witnessing and how disgusting this was. The waitress did nothing and told the owner. The owner then came over to us and asked if there was an issue. Which yes there is because this problem is beyond unacceptable. The owner listened to us but then did nothing! He left the noodles, jello, and croutons all up at the Buffett! No one switched out the food or utensils! They also never addressed the parents of these children. There was a women who looked like she was suppose to be watching the Buffett ( a worker) for restocking purposes and etc but she was on her phone the entire time while this all was going on. The board of health could easily walk in and close this place down for this. The whole problem here is that none of the food was removed and replaced after it being contaminated, customers could easily get very sick from this.

Huge selection. My only critique is the black pepper shrimp wasn't shelled - making it very messy to try to eat. Everything else was very good.

October is one of the best waiters we have had for a while. Always personable and remembers you. Very helpful as well. The food is great during dinner hours but after and before that it's decent, not the best. Prices aren't to bad either.

This is still the gold standard for Chinese buffets. I used to go here all the time. I was always greeted with a friendly face and the food was delicious. They didn't have a lot of choices, but what they had was really good.I measure all Chinese buffets since by this place.
