We always enjoy eating on the patio when it's nice! The seafood linguine is my favorite and the portion sizes are always generous.

Would recommend. We come here often after a day on the lake. Portions are large and food is pretty good. The pie is great

Love the atmosphere and views of the lake. Sitting outside on the deck is recommended. Makes me feel I’m on vacation. The cheesecake is great.

I've lived in the area almost a decade and had never been here. My wife and I went for dinner the other evening and sat outside on a beautiful fall evening. Amazing atmosphere, great food, and the nicest server!

We went here for a date night for the first time in a long time. It is opened only seasonally so it was the end of season by going in October. Our waitress was great and food was good. Portions were large. We both got steaks but the husband said his was under seasoned but cooked right. My steak was seasoned great but it was more medium well than my requested.

Stopped by Ainsley’s Cafe while at Brookville Lake one day. Heard it was a great place so we tried it. Food was awesome and we sat out on the deck overlooking the lake. It was a beautiful Fall day. Love this place and we will be back. Inside restaurant could use some updating but it has a nautical vibe.

We stopped here on a motorcycle run. It was chilly outside. They seated us in the back area, it had no heat and we were already cold from riding. They had propane heaters, but couldn’t get them working. The inside area was warm. We realized we were eating on a deck with no real floor. The food was ok, my burger was bland and overpriced for burger fries and cold drink. $18.00. Heat would have made the meal better or being seated inside with other customers.

The reviews looked good so we decided to try it.What a beautiful location with an amazing view. It's always unfortunate though when the dining experience takes a far second place to the location.First off, our server was awesome. Kudo's to Royce! He was on it.The food though. Not so much. The first indication of trouble is when a menu has too many items and you know they can't possibly do them justice individually. This was that.We started with the peel and eat shrimp. The shrimp were plentiful and your standard frozen shrimp as to be expected. The cocktail sauce was actually good. Really good. All 2 teaspoons of it. There is no way anyone could expect that little an amount to suffice for the number of shrimp served. With the $15.95 pricetag nobody should have to ask for another tiny container to still not have enough.I'll start with the good on the entrees. I had the breaded tenderloin. The tenderloin itself was actually pretty good. The lettuce wasn't and, just personal preference, that bun is the wrong choice for this sandwich. It was kind of like a ciabatta bun and a little too sweet in a way that didn't match the tenderloin. Again, that's likely a personal thing from a man that loves his breaded tenderloins.I really liked the coleslaw. It's a sweet coleslaw with good flavor. A little bite to it is the only thing that would have added to it maybe. But it was good. I grew up on KFC coleslaw and this reminded me of that. And then my wife's meal. I'll be much nicer than she would be.She got the steak salad. Again the lettuce was just plain iceberg lettuce and just not good. The "steak". I'll just leave that at that. "Steak". I'm sure you understand.I'm not a "food diva", I love the small hidden gems that are great at what they serve whether it's a burger and fries, barbecue, pizza or whatever. But for a location like this, I'd hire a chef and have a much smaller and more specialized menu while still including local favorites instead of trying to do too much. The price paid was just a tad high for the food served in my opinion. Enough that I won't be back to eat because there's less expensive places nearby that do a much better job at what they do.But what an amazing location with a beautiful view and ambience to match. So if that's what you're after and just want something to satisfy hunger then this might be for you. It's definitely not our thing. We were after a dining experience. We left extremely disappointed. The people at the table next to us were a little more vocal with that same opinion. On the way out I stopped and asked a few other diners who were leaving their opinions just to be sure I was reading this right. The best opinion was a shoulder shrug. And that's about as good a summary as any.

Went in for lunch,we had ordered nachos for a appetizer and a pork barbecue sandwich with fries. Nachos was not supposed to have black olives and sour cream on side, everything was on it so sent it back and the new ones had very lil meat so we had to ask four different servers to get us extra meat for them so when we recieved the meat the rest of our nachos were soggy and cold, highly disappointed.Grrr

The food was excellent. Atmosphere was great particularly being on the deck right near the lake. Only thing I wish was different on the deck was the rail being a bit too high to have the best view of the lake and surrounding area. Overall an terrific dining establishment with a friendly and inviting crew.

There's not a very easy way to pull right up to the door in case you have a elderly person or handicap individual to drop off. So there's really steep stairs, or a very long steep ramp to get down to the restaurant. I pulled down the ramp and had to back all the way out, since it doesn't circulate around the front of the building. I guess that's a result of being on a hillside and having Lakeview. But they put these cooling units right in the middle of the road, right in the very front, which I don't think was very good planning. Keeping the road out front for circulation and traffic would be much more important. Seems like they could have relocated the coolers on the side of the building or on top.

Our first time here and we did have to wait for a table to be expected since it was the closest place to eat being by the golf course and marina. The service was good but we did have to wait a while for our food. I would recommend getting an appetizer. They did keep our drinks full. The waitress was nice and efficient wasn’t any time to be any more friendly than she was.I would recommend sitting on the upper level deck the bottom wasn’t bad but the railing were a bit high didn’t get the full view of the lake.My husband and I got the Ainsley burgers and they was good. The potatoe salad was more on the mustard side taste which was fine but I am more of a mayo person.Parking: The parking was plenteous but there is a bit of walk either up a slight hill or stairs.Wheelchair accessibility: The hill to get to the place would be perfect for someone needing access to ramp for their wheelchair however you will need someone a bit strong to push the wheelchair up this hill/ramp

The atmosphere is great. The service is something to be desired. We ordered the shrimp cocktail they brought us the shrimp and no cocktail sauce, they told us that they ran out of cocktail sauce. I had to ask the hostess if they had horseradish ( they informed me they had raw and creamy) I asked if they had ketchup they in fact did. I informed them those are the ingredients to cocktail sauce. They brought me a ketchup bottle that barely had any ketchup remaining in the bottle. They brought no silverware for me to mix it up. We got the rest of our meal which was okay but not worth the price point. The best part of the meal was the fries.
