We tried this on a whim and it was fantastic. The garlic rolls are very cheesy, the pizza has a great amount of toppings, and overall great flavor. When it go in to pickup, the service is always friendly.

I went to Sal's on the recommendation that they had authentic Italian pizza. Instead, it was a classic NY style pizza rather than authentic Italian. I got a slice of the pepperoni and sausage. Now when i say a slice, i mean a SLICE. It was enormous and would be enough to satisfy most hungry patrons. It was a bit greasy but that was from the amount of meat they generously topped it with and those toppings were delicious. The crust was rather bland so that was a bit disappointing. I also got a Stromboli which was pretty good.The service was excellent and the atmosphere was really welcoming. There were pictures of Sal and his family on most of the walls which made it feel like he was welcoming you to be a part of his family.

My chicken parmesan was great! Our server was on top of everything. Everyone at my table was happy with their food. My son absolutely loved the bruschetta. Oh, and I also love the dipping sauce that comes out with warm bread. I forgot to mention we 7 people at an our table and that didn't slow any of the staff down.

So we moved to Brownsburg from Carmel a year ago and have searched for a good pizza place- to no success. We decided to try Sal’s and WOW! This will now be our go-to place! The wood oven pizza is SO good!! We also shared the antipasto salad- good as well, and the garlic knots. At first I thought the garlic knots were undercooked but then I realized it was the cheese- not raw dough. And lastly, the tiramisu was good but a small piece for $8. All that to say- we will for sure be back!

Nice ambiance, great service, food is just ok. Decided to try the sit down experience at Sal's. They have a beautiful Italian themed room....lots of old pictures on the wall. I ordered just basic spaghetti and meatballs. The red sauce was a little too acidic and almost sour. Wasnt awful but wasnt great either. Service was prompt and friendly.

We've been to Sal's several times, overall it's a great local restaurant. While we've had to wait a few times for service, the quality of the food is awesome. I've had the Meat Ravioli a number of times and always enjoyed it. The Chicken Marsala is excellent. Even the bread and oil are fresh and an excellent starter for the meal. Most of the meals we've had leave plenty left over for a lunch the next day. Certainly plan on going back in the near future.
